At 80, this is going to be a little fuzzy. But that's because of the incredibly light-weight design and probably represents about the best you can get for this design. If you want better sharpness and color, be prepared to spend 3-5x as much. This is a large item, but feels impossibly light, just because there is so little glass in there. I was prepared to be disappointed, but actually, the classic optical design holds up well. I'd readily recommend this for any birder. Probably best paired with a monopod or lightweigh tripod if you're going to be using 60-80, because there's just so much wobble at that point. Not a design flaw, that's just physics. Only solution other than a tripod would be image-stabilized binoculars which weigh a ton and cost $2500 or more. Angled eyepiece made this really easy to use in the field. I personally found the iphone attachment a bit fussy to use, but I'm a professional videographer, so I'm used to more professional-grade gear. If you fiddle with it enough, you'll likely be able to get some great images.

First, I’m not using this for shooting but rather to look out over the city. I’m looking at things 1-1.5km away and I’m really impressed with the closeup images I’m seeing. 75x zoom has some serious reach. The optics seems great. The image is crystal clear. The lens caps are thick rubber and fit snugly. The included tripod is very basic and could be better. I have mine mounted on a sturdy camera tripod which serves my purposes better. I can’t comment yet on the longevity as I’ve only had it a week, but the construction feels solid. With the Amazon coupon I paid about $109. I feel it was a great bargain.

Not spectacular, but a good value for the price. Zoom is smooth, but the focus is pretty difficult to get perfect.

No complaints works as it should. Tripod is very cheap but that was expected for the price.

This is a high quality scope. Easily a great scope for the price. Good features. I put it on a standing Tripod, it has good stability. Easy to use, great focus, clear and bright.

I used this at 50 and 100 yards and it met my needs. I included 3 photos. A port-a-john at the lowest and highest zoom. At max zoom, you can see a little distortion. The target is at 50 yards and is crystal clear.

Went to the range with my son and we totally enjoyed being able to see the target at 100 yards with no problem

Fully adequate for my use out to 100 yards.
