Great product.
Perfect for the small project we had. Easy to use for one person and quality is really good. The lift capacity was exactly what it said with ease. Great value for price. Lightweight, but very sturdy and easy to take apart to store for other projects. I would buy this over renting for twice the cost.

Junk
This thing is garbage. Part of this is my fault for not opening it soon enough to send it back within the return window. First of all, the packaging is awful. This thing is all scratched up as if it’s been used on several jobs already. Second, there are no pins to lock in the extension arms for sheets wider than 8 feet, so they can’t even be attached. The assembly instructions are perhaps the worst I’ve ever seen for a product, but I muddled my way through. There’s nothing to keep the crank wheel attached, so it just intermittently works its way off while you’re raising the sheet if you’re not careful. And lastly, one of the photos in this review has a tape measure that’s hooked on the top of the sheet when it’s lifted to the absolute max. The listing says it will go to 11 feet so I thought it would be perfect for my 11 foot garage walls, but as you can see, it barely makes it to 10 feet.

It's great for what I want it to do...breaks down tight for storage too.
You better get hip with that wheel and the brake lever before you start lifting and lowering the the brace.Very important to control the action with the wheel and the brake. raise and lower it and make your mistakes on dry runs, get to know it well before attempting any work. It has worked for me in lowering some ceiling 4 x 8 sheets, after it crashed on me because I didn't hold the wheel and brake. It worked well in my tight area of work, good mobility, locking wheels, but don't let the two moveable legs get too close together, it will dive over on you. Keep a solid triangular base, it can be moved into many different set ups but always keep a triangle and lock the wheels.I believe I going to get my job done without any friends corralled or workmen hired because this thing actually works like you wish it would. But get to know the wheel and the brake, going up and coming down, it's the only bad experience I've had because I'm a novice with this thing. It slammed down on me but it was a very short drop, and it happened because I didn't control the wheel and the brake.
