Nice little strips for a boost of iron

This is a review of 'PROSTRIP® Iron+ AB-Fortis® 14mg Added with Vitamin C, B1, B2, B6, Folic Acid, Beetroot, Spinach and Tart Cherry – 30 Oral Vegan Strips – No Water Needed – High Absorption by Prowise Healthcare'.This is an iron supplement with other added vitamins and veg. It is a dissolvable tongue trip/tab but it's fairly large and takes a bit to dissolve. The tabs don't taste very nice. I think they're a good idea if you want to avoid capsules but there is definitely a bit of a vitamin taste to them. The item comes packaged in a nice tin that could be reused.

I hate taking tablets and I tend to forget a lot which is why I really like this product.I had the vitamin c ones before (green box) not once did I forget to take them it was almost like getting a sweetie in the morning great taste. Looked forward to it.These ones though the iron and folic etc is more suited to the vitamins I need but I hate the taste of this product like it’s disgusting. My fiancé thinks it takes like strepsils Anyway despite the taste it isn’t so bad that I’ll refuse to take it. I just don’t look forward to it like I did the vitamin c ones. Imagine someone describing a taste to someone who'd never tried it before and that person trying to recreate that taste 100% with chemicals. You know how artificial sweeteners taste (and leave a horrible after-taste in your mouth). Now imagine someone accidentally bumping the arm of the person who's adding the artificial sweetener so that 10x the necessary amount is added in. That's how these things taste. I've used mouthwash strips before. All of those strips were in a teeny tiny thin plastic case that was very efficient as nothing more was needed. I thought these would be the same. Not even remotely. The metal tin is about two inches square and maybe one centimeter in height. Each strip has its own individual plastic/foil wrapper. WHY?! This is so wasteful! The plastic/foil can't be recycled so I had to throw all of that straight in the bin. I'll paint the bin and give it to a charity shop so someone can store earrings or something in it. I can't find a single thing to recommend about this product.

These seem like a really novel idea, and a fun way to take vitamins.You simply place s strip on your tongue and wait for it to dissolve.However, I was disappointed in the way they actually worked. The taste was quite unpleasant, which meant is wasn't nice when waiting for them to dissolve. I also found that they often got stuck to the roof of my mouth which was a nasty feeling.

My daughter is vegetarian and takes iron supplements regularly. She also dislikes swallowing tablets, so any chewable or edible alternatives are always worth a go.There's a good mix of supplements here, along with the all important iron - obviously - and my daughter was quite exited to try these.Looking for all the world like one of those little curling fishes you used to get in Christmas crackers, you pop one of these on your tongue and let it dissolve in your mouth. Although perfectly edible, my daughter doesn't like the taste of these at all. In fact, shed rather have to brave swallowing a tablet! That's possibly a personal thing, but she also reports that they never really entirely dissolve on your tongue.They aren't badly priced for a month's supply, but it is worth noting that there is an awful lot of packaging here too. If you don't like unnecessary packaging, these aren't really for you. Each tab comes individually wrapped inside the outer tin - which itself, is quite handy and perfectly reusable should you wish.
