Great product, high price
We love this food jar. The size/shape are perfect for fitting in my son's lunch box and it keeps food reasonably warm until lunch time. The loss of one star is really for the price....paying $35 for one of these is pretty high. I am not looking for cheap crap made in China - those options certainly exist - but it's just a little steep. There are competing products that are not "Hydro Flask" brand that are probably just as good and a bit cheaper, so I might go with one of them next time. But good quality and does what we need it to do.

Does Not Leak
My kid LOVES soups- Ramen, Udon, Chicken Noodle, Miso... if it's a soup, he will devour it. So, for school lunches, I wanted a reliable food jar that would allow me to pack him soups daily. Per my kid, the soups are warm by the time he eats. AND, they don't leak!!! This is sooooo important. I tried a few other insulated food jars, and they were either very tricky to seal properly or they would leak regardless. My only complaint for this hydro flask is that I should have gotten the larger size, which I will purchase in the coming days.

Beautiful, however won't hold temperature.
This food thermos jar looks beautiful, feels expensive and has extra wide opening. However, it holds food warm or cold only for short time, like 2-3 hrs.
