I got this to use with a 28mm wide-angle lens that I have for a Pentax DSLR camera. The lens hood is all plastic, appears to be well made and fits my lens very well. I like the adjustment ring that may be rotated to secure the hood in place by effectively 'screwing it down'. I also like that a cleaning cloth is included with the hood. It is made from hard black plastic and would potentially crack or break if dropped or treated roughly but that is about par for this type of design and in particular this price. I chose a 52mm fitting and had no issues with it on the lens and filter threads that I tried. There are the potential for issues when adding a plastic fitting onto a metal thread but so far so good. Some care will be needed to avoid stripping the plastic thread if you intend to swap the hood regularly but again this is about par for the course. A tulip hood is intended for use with wide angle lenses and is a compromise between providing protection against the likes of glare, whilst avoiding a vignette where the hood appears in the 'frame'. The hood should ideally be positioned with the smaller 'petals' on either side (right and left) and the larger petals above and below. This is where the adjustment ring comes in handy. It is necessary for accurate positioning to put the hood on slightly loose and then lock it down with the rotating ring. Overall this is a pretty good piece of kit for what is, in this day and age, very reasonable money. More cash may buy you a metal hood or a plastic hood with a metal ring. It might also get you matted inner surfaces that would perform better, (the surface on this hood is more shiny than matt, say vinyl silk in paint terms). However, if you are on a budget or just want to see whether a hood can improve your shots then this is a very good starting option. In my experience, appropriate filters and the addition of a suitable lens hood can improve clarity, depth and colour rendition. It may also help you when shooting into or obliquely to a light source. In my opinion this hood is well worth a 'shot' and I would recommend it.

I was a little dubious buying Lens Hood as I was unsure of size of camera lens. Needn't of worried as this one fitted perfectly. Delivery was on time and package was well packed.

Bought for my Kodak which has 52mm ring but this doesn't connect, you can push the threads on. Therefore drops off as not connected. Either Kodak (unlikely) or this has wrong sizing.

Bought as my other lens hood developed a fracture. It’s okay if you want a cheap option, fits has a tightening wheel but comes off easily and can’t be reversed when storing the camera so takes up extra room in your bag. Not particularly big either don’t think it’ll offer much protection to the lens on a wet afternoon but it’ll do as a stop gap until I get something else.

I bought the K&F Concept 67mm Tulip Flower Lens Hood for my lenses, and it works exactly as expected. It fits perfectly on my 18–135mm and 24–105mm, and it does a great job cutting down flare and protecting the front element. The build quality feels solid, and it attaches securely without any wobble. For the price, it’s an awesome upgrade to keep in your camera bag. Highly recommend!
