Tubbing became brittle and fell apart in contact with the bleach
I wish I could give a negative star. After about a month of use the tubbing became opaque white and brittle. The tubes spontaneously broke off into pieces and fell to the bottom of the tank. Clearly, this tubbing is not compatible with the supplied concentrated bleach tablets. But this unit IS supposed to work with bleach. That is the whole point. Very disappointed. The design of this unit is quite good, so I plan to replace the tubes and use an alternative tablet.

Only lasted 5 months
5 month review. This has worked great until I went to add a chlorine tablet today. After 5 months the hoses have turned white and are already very brittle and breaking. The blue container is turning white also and I expect that it will break soon also rendering the product trash.I have been very pleased at how well it has worked but very disappointed that it’s only lasted 5 months. Its one of the cheapest products for toilet bowl cleaning but I still don’t think it’s worth it as the chlorine breaks down the materials that are used.

With a little help, works pretty good.
Leakage: Yeah, the unit leaks a small bit. In no way a deal breaker.Cleaning: Like NeverScrub, keeps the bowl pretty clean."Fixes": I've never cared for having my bathroom smell like bleach, so I did not use the provided tablets. I also prefer a colored solution so I can tell by sight that the tablet needs replacing. So I bought the blue scrubbing bubbles tablets, which fit in the canister pretty well. Only problem is the water pressure in most toilets will blow them apart pretty quickly so they'll only last a few days in a well used bathroom. To fix that, I 3D printed a small cup that the scrubbing bubbles tablets snugly press into, which then fits inside the canister. This makes the jet of water pass over the tablet instead of through it. The tablets now last 2-3 weeks, which is a bit better. I imagine the water pressure will eventually wear down my thin little cup, but after about a month it is still 100%.

Very Strong Odor, Way Too Much Bleach
I bought this and a similar product by NeverScrub! which is more expensive. So I'll do this in more of a comparison review.Value:- The KSend is cheaper at about $10 and uses standard toilet bleach generic pellets.- The NeverScrub! uses their refill cartridges that are filled with bleach granules, the refill cartridges are around ~$5 each and are supposed to last up to 90 days -- however the cartridges are easily disassembled, and you could likely break up some generic pellets to refill.Quality/Construction:- The KSend is Made in China and the plastic feels noticeably more flimsy. You have to really screw down the cap or higher pressure water systems will cause it to leak.- The NeverScrub! is Made in USA and the plastic feels more reinforced/rugged. You also need to make sure to secure the top as needed. It also doesn't hurt to put some hose clamps on if you have high pressure in your water lines.Function:- The KSend pushes water through the housing and then directly out the other side into the outlet tube, because of this wide-open design you tend to get a powerful smell of bleach in the toilet, and the bowl water is noticeably "yellowish" from the bleach being in the water.- The NeverScrub! uses a more restricted path with the water flowing in the bottom, getting pushed through the bleach granules, and then back out into the area where it leaves the housing. I didn't notice any strong smell and it seems apparent that there's not as much bleach being dispensed with this design (a good thing).- Both seemed to keep the bleach from getting in the upper basin assuming they're properly secured and installed. Conclusion:Given the fact the NeverScrub! design seems to meter the bleach better and feels like it's built to last longer overall, I'd have to recommend going with that design -- I relegated the KSend to the guest bathroom just because of the strong odor.UPDATE - 2024/06/17:Reducing the star count. These KSend units lack a sufficient design to prevent backflow of the bleached water that sits in the container, this can cause it to flow backwards into the inlet tube and soften that plastic. In my case, that tube had a flow restrictor (by design of the toilet system) on it which the water fused shut. I noticed it when the toilet stopped filling to the proper level.

Bad angle Interferes with function
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a less expensive replacement when my kaboom system finally deteriorated and broke after at least ten years of continuous use. This looked good, just as easy to install, as well as easier to load new tablets. But its large size is also its downfall. It sticks out at a much larger angle and interferes with my toilet’s designed function. I really had only the one spot to place it and once I did, I was unable to take the lid off easily. Anywhere else it DID fit, it caused the float to stay down and water never stopped running. So after the first fill of cleaning tabs were used up, I went back to the kaboom system. If you have a different tank with more room it may be great for you. If yours looks like mine, not worth it.The cleaning tabs do seem to work well though so I bought those in bulk.

Too strong! Burns eyes & throat
The bleach is so potent that when you flushed the bleach dissipated into the air and stung my kids eyes & they coughed from the coloring in the air. It rusted the bolts in the tank and took the plastic silvertone paint of the flusher button on top on my toilet. The plastic tubes dry rotted inside causing the water to spray out behind the toilet. Hazardous in my opinion.
