Quality and dependable lighting system-I recommend
The DC710 Octatorch is an excellent light and I definitely recommend it. This is my experience leading to my purchase. Over the past two years I have bought 3 different non-Orcatorch dive lights and each time was disappointed with what I bought. I bought slide and button switch lights, small, medium and larger sized lights but none were of the quality, dependability or functionality I needed. That all changed while diving with a couple buddies this summer. We were diving in late summer with very poor visibility to the point we all activated our lights to be able to see each other in the 0-2 foot visibility. This was a definite safety concern during this dive. Both buddies had Ocratorch light 710’s and I had a small off brand light. Within less than 10 minutes of this hour long dive my light was already showing red indicator of low battery. One of my dive buddies saw this and had an extra Orcatorch 710 back up and handed it to me. I used the 710 light for the rest of the dive. I was amazed at the perfect size that allowed for proper handling and usage. I was very impressed with the Orcatorch’s battery life which had no trouble completing this dive with plenty of battery left. I was impressed with the 710’s quality and functionality and ease of its positive push button operation, light bean power as well of its versatility.Immediately after this dive is when I realized both dive buddies were using exclusively the Ocratorch products as well as tank lights which we also used on this dive. I was sold and purchased the DC710 and tank light immediately. This light has shown to be of high quality and functionality as well as ease of bezzel charging without having to remove the battery. It has impressive battery life and an on/off switch that is also very positive, easy to operate and dependable.I highly recommend the Orcatorch 710 and tank light. I’m pleased with this product and this supplier. Great light and company. I wish I had known of this brand and supplier prior to buying other brands in the past as this is quality product at a reasonable price point.

Very useful,strong dive light
The media could not be loaded. This is a strong, long-lasting, practical dive light that happens to come in an unusual pink wand, rather than the impractical black of most dive gear. It is made of high quality aluminum and it is easy to use..pressing a button on the tube changes the power from high,to medium to low and holding it down in any setting creates a 3000 lumen beam (but only while you hold the button down). This light is a great spotting light and can be helpful for underwater photography as well. I have ordered several to give to dive buddies and dive masters, because I like it. It comes with two string batteries which can be charged directly by plugging the USB to USBC cable into the built in port in the battery or by using a charging cradle. The light comes with a travel case, two batteries, the charging cable, a wrist strap, a small instruction card and extra o-rings. (It does not come with a charging cradle or wall adapter).I strongly recommend this light for divers

Great all purpose dive light
I bought an Orcatorch dive light around five years ago. It was the time when some small size dive lights came to the market with a very reasonable price tag (less than $100). I was surprised because it was really good, very bright, and the battery last a reasonable long time and exchangeable. I still have it and carry with me as a backup for every shore dives, or sometimes lent it to other divers. Before I wrote this review, I saw some other Orcatorch dive lights were displayed at the Los Angeles Scuba Show. I believe that Orcatorch has established itself as a legitimate/reputable company for scuba/dive lights. The D710 comes with two rechargeable 21700 batteries, which are very powerful, and are not proprietary. After two dives, it still has a lot of juice. The 21700 battery provided has a USB -C charge port on the battery itself, so that it can be charged directly via an usb c cable. You don't need a charger. Not all 21700 batteries have this feature. It is very thoughtful that Orcatorch includes this extra convenience in the package. BTW, the two batteries will cost at least $60 on the market. The soft carry case is very nicely made, not bulky at all.It is very easy to operate. I have no problem to operate it with my 3mm glove. It also allows the user to lock the light to prevent it from being accidentally turned on, which always worries me. The light is very bright and focused. In fact, this is the brightest dive light I have used so far. The compact size of the light makes it one of the gears I will carry with me for every dive, just like safety sausage / spool, line cutter, whistle. Overall, this is a great dive light. The features and batteries come with it definitely make it a bargain.I include some photos when I dove at Avalon, Catalina Island, CA

Great dive light on the smaller size and well made! With 21700 battery!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this on a few dives now in my favorite lake and in a quarry. The size is great for the brightness it puts out and very nice runtime with the 21700 battery …and it comes with a spare battery! Also nice that the batteries have the usb C charge port, no extra charger needed on trips. And pretty nice zipper case to keep it all in as well. At first I wasn’t thrilled that you have to press and hold to get the max output, but after using it, I can see that it makes sense. It wasn’t very often I wanted the max brightness, the 1700 lumens is pretty bright. And if you were able to set it on max output, it would just run down the battery too quick when it’s not necessary. LED in the button is always nice to keep an eye on battery life remaining. And this green version…so sexy with their orange silicone ring to give it a little “pop” 😃. And back to the size, it fits very nice in a soft hand mount. The deal running at the time I ordered it, I was able to add the SD01 beacon light to the cart and it was free with the purchase. These beacon lights are nice if you do night dives. I also tried it on our boat's mooring line to help us find it on the way back, we could see it but honestly it would work better at night. Hard to go wrong with these Orcatorch lights for the cost! I’ve got a few different size Orcatorch lights I’ve been using for a while now.
