I needed two cans to fully cover a sectional and ottoman. It seems to be doing its job. My sectional has a lot of pillows but I didn’t need to spray the seats which have it embedded. So although it works, you might need a lot of it. And it does smell.

This is the same product my furniture store used on the upholstered items I purchased. I think I paid $150.00 for the process. I just used it on another sofa I purchased from another store. I will always use this to protect my furniture. It does not change the feeling of the nap or have an odor.

Works great but the smell is horrible. It fades in 24-48 hours, but during that time your coach or furniture will smell like straight gasoline.

I recently sprayed two light layers on a 9’x12’ wool rug that I put down a week ago. Today, my big dogs knocked a steel cup of Diet Coke off the coffee table upside down on the rug in front of the sofa. I freaked out! (Sorry, I didn’t get a photo of the spilled soda.) i ran into the kitchen and got a dish towel, put the towel on the soda, and it soaked it up like a dry sponge. There was no stain or evidence of a spill. When I touched the rug, it was dry. It wasn’t even damp. I was amazed at how well Guardsman protected the rug. Highly recommend! It will have an odor after the application of the product, but it has dissipated over the course of the week.

Easy to use. Followed the directions, and the spray worked as advertised. Two light coats, and you will be good to go. Drying time between each coat was about 3 hours. Sprayed outside, so no smell.

I got this to use on my fabric placemats and table runner because it says it is good for table linens. I did as the directions said and applied 2 light coats. I let the first coat dry about 6 hours and the second coat I left over night. As soon as you start spraying it smells like you are pouring gas on it. I just hoped it would go away when dry. So far it has been dry for a full day and I can still smell that gasoline smell on the fabric. I have now hung them up outside to air out and hope this solves it finally. I have not yet been able to use my table linens so I cannot yet say how well this protects the fabric. So far I’m not happy but I will update this review with a final conclusion later.

I looked all over for stain protection guard and finally ordered it on Amazon. Great product!

It works great. I sprayed the 2 coats my cloth sneakers and it repelled water. My husband, however, only sprayed 1 coat on the couch and it didn't work. Moral is "follow instructions."
