1st time working with leather to make an A5 size journal cover. The dark blue is much darker than expected but i like it & looks nice with my charms. It cut easy, feels genuine & soft, & was fun to work with. Would definitely love to make another in a different color too. I chose not to burnish the edges hoping it will get that fray worn in look.

I got this piece of leather to make a journal cover after getting inspired by journaltok and I am sooooo pleased with the quality! It is beautiful and thick! The color is so perfect as well! I purchased an additional one to make my husband one and the chocolate brown is so perfect as well! I was able to find a tutorial on how to make the cover and was able to make the necessary cuts and holes. It held up perfectly even after the adjustments. It functions perfect for what I needed it for. The smell is very light. I personally wasn’t able to smell anything until I out it up to my nose. Highly recommend!

This piece of leather was amazing the thickness was perfect for the journal covers I was making. It was easy to work with and I ended up buying it in 4 more colors for to make more for my friends

This leather is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick it’s nice and flexible and smooth to the skin. My old cloth IWB holster was wore out. So I tried my hand on making one. I made a replacement using the old one as a pattern. It turned out grate and worked great.

Shkira 12''X24'' Genuine Buckthorn Brown Leather Sheets, 2.0mm thickness. My real rating would be 2 1/2 stars. Got this today. This is my first time buying from this seller. The leather seems of good quality and reasonably supple. 12x24" measurements were spot on. It did already have some scratches in it that weren't my favorite. My biggest complaint though is that thickness is very important for this project, and this is advertised as 2.0mm thickness, when in fact, the thickest reading I can get on it anywhere is 1.54mm, with some even thinner spots throughout. So, I don't know if this is standard practice for them to run their stuff thin, but it's something I wanted to share, because if accurate thickness is important to you, this probably isn't the seller to buy from. Would I buy it again? Probably not, unless I was in a pinch and couldn't get what I needed elsewhere.

The piece is almost a suede/neubuck on outside. I made a trifold for my pocket planners. I did have to re-enforce the spine because of the softness of the leather. Leather arrived in great condition and packaged well. Recomend this shop but make sure you chk reviews on each color. Maroon is not real cowhide and is much different.

Don’t know anything about Leather so I’m not sure if this is real leather or not. It wasn’t bad for what I wanted it for (journal cover), but it did arrive pretty badly creased and scratched, which was disappointing.

Perfect weight for a DIY traveller’s notebook. Gorgeous colour! No complaints at all. It was exactly what I wanted.

Beautiful leather. After ordering other leather from other sources at the same time, this was the softest best quality out of them all by far!

Y'all be careful with this company selling these leather. I've ordered 3 different times and they've sent me all 3 times different things. The blue (left) is thin but the feeling of it is nice. The light brown (middle) is super thick and the texture on the top is very different from the blue and the "Dark Brown" is actually a normal brown, the texture is soft as if you dropped water on it it would absorb it and the inside is an awful black texture. I've add to ask 3 times to get a refund on the "dark brown" to finally have my money back. I'm sad, I was supposed to gif someone a leather journal for their birthday and won't be able to do so.
