Ice Pack Cooler Divider, Compatible with YETI 35/45, Freezable Cooler Divider, Cooler Accessories

I have always wondered what the slits inside my Yeti were for, and when I stumbled across this I finally knew! Usually we use frozen water bottles in our Yetis but often they are too tall/long so it's a bit awkward. When this arrived I immediately filled it with water as instructed because we had a trip planned the next day. It worked perfectly in our Yeti 35 and as indicated, not with the basket (which we hardly use anyways). My only complaint is that it limits the size of what we can put on each side, but I do think it is a nice option depending on what we fill the cooler with.

FYI this does not work when used with the baskets. I unfortunately got the wrong size for my own cooler. I have a wheeled yeti and it is too small for a good fit as a divider so be sure to measure your cooler to ensure proper fit. I was able to still use mine, but it is basically a giant ice pack that sits on the bottom now.Before you use it the first time, you must follow the instructions to fill it and activate the cooling gel inside -it starts off as a powder so do not accidentally pour this stuff out!! You’ll fill the container about 80 percent full and then ensure the contents are fully mixed, then it can be placed in the freezer to chill it. It’s not ready to use until you do this step. It fits my Yeti Tundra 35 perfectly. If you follow Yeti's cooler packing recommendations, this really helps cut down on extra ice. It stayed frozen for five hours of use while on a beach on a hot day. Even then, it wasn't completely melted, just slightly slushy.The thickness of the divider doesn't take up much room and, since it replaces some ice, I was still able to pack my cooler with everything I needed for a long day on the beach.

This is a very cool divider that freezes and fits into the slot in the cooler. It has some sort of beads in it which you activate by filling to a fill line one time with water. The beads then activate into a freezing gel by freezing them. It’s a very nice addition and won’t melt into the food like ice cubes do.

We are always out and about with a cooler in tow. This divider is great and allows me to separate our food from our drinks. No more squished sandwiches! Upon receiving you do have to fill it up with water. There is a fill line to let you know when to stop filling. There is a gel activator already inside the divider. Once filled with water just shake to combine the water and gel. Then you just place it in the freezer overnight and it's ready to use. It was a perfect fit for our cooler. Well worth the money!
