Really nice smaller "carry" Multi-tool. Very pleased I chose this.
I am a longtime Leatherman fan...I've carried one on my side for most of my adult life. At 54, I've worn out 2 Leatherman tools, and am on my 3rd. I find that while I like having a multi-tool with me, I decided I wanted a smaller tool I could carry in my pocket vs. in sheath on my belt. After doing a lot of research and watching various reviews, I settled on the the SOG PowerPint. It helped that I was able to get it on sale as well.It came well packaged and upon getting my hands on it, my first impression was how solid it felt in my hand. The quality of the build and feel is top notch. Opening the tool to use the plyers is smooth and there is zero play in the connections. While I wasn't sold on accessing the tools from the "outside" of the handles (I've always had the style that needs opened to get to the tools), I found I didn't have any issues. My concern was that the tools may not be contained tightly within the handles, but they take a little effort to open, which is good, because they won't work themselves open over time.As for size...it's really is a nice compromise between a full size tool and a true mini tool. Small enough to be comfortable in my pocket, but large enough to be actually useful. As a first time SOG buyer, I am impressed and pleased with the workmanship, finish, and robustness of the tool. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it. I may be getting a few more for Christmas gifts this year.

Nice and compact for EDC or waist carry
Was really glad I got this as it is a great little multitool. Fits easily in an Altoid can if you go that route. Blades are sharp and lock. Comes with the in the waist clip. Really nice study quality. The really cool feature is the bit holder at the end- could come in handy and the hex bits fit snug, great feature.

Great for Lefties (with a small mod)
First off, I really like this tool! I've owned and used various Gerber (600, Dime, DualForce), Leatherman (PST, Style PS, Skeletool, Juice, Wingman), and a few other cheap no-name multi-tools. I've looked for years for a MT that could 1. fit in my pocket, 2. not weight a ton, and includes a set of 3. actually functional pliers and 4. functional screwdrivers. This little guy meets those criteria. To a somewhat lesser extent I wanted a tool a southpaw can use. As other southpaws are well aware, 99.9% of the existing MTs in the world that have a pocket clip open up a file or something else that pretty useless at your left thumb rather than a blade of some sort. As sold, this one does too. However, it is possible to disassemble this tool with two 8mm hex bits and flip/flop the plain edge blade and the file. So, for perhaps the first time in recorded history, there exists a MT with a BLADE at your left thumb!!! It's not the easiest thing to open but it does open. The excellent: The pliers are wonderful. They are stiff and just the right size. I can use them for jewelry repair on up to a 9/16" nut. They can function as tweezers to crab claw crackers. These are much more effective than the Skeletool or Juice and on par with the Wingman or Gerber 800. The ability to use 1/4" bits takes care of all my screwdriver needs. The awl is awesome. The ruler on this actually matches a stand alone 6" ruler and is very functional. The little jewelry screwdriver is great both as a small screwdriver and works okay as a "poky thing" when what you really need is a small punch. The crimper works really well on fishing weights. The average: The file is pretty good but not as good as some other offerings. The bottle opener works but should have been shaped to handle a #8 flat tip. The hook cutter works for fishing line and paracord. Both the plain and serrated blades are sharp and functional. Now the bad: the scissors are junk. The protractor function is useless. The can opener is dull and should have a #2 Philips capable tip like a Swiss Army Knife (...perhaps I can do that with a file?).Overall, it's definitely worth the asking price if you are looking for a pocket-sized MT that won't pull your shorts down and offers very good functionality. This is my first SOG manufactured tool, and I will now definitely consider some of their other offerings.

Neat little multitool that does what is promised.
Bought 4 of these for Christmas gifts. They are wonderful. Easy to open unlike cheaper multitools. Pliers touch at the tip, scissors cut, knives are sharp, all tools are functional in a small package. Everyone really liked them, and have used them multiple times. It also has a nice belt clip and a keyring attachment so you can carry it a couple different ways not to mention just in your pocket. Overall I would purchase again.

SOG hit a home run on this one
Pretty awesome little tool! Worth every penny and definitely a must for edc. Figured out some very handy uses for the couple tools included. It’s lightweight and very easy to use and is a great gift for anyone.

Excellent Tool Overall for EDC.
Great size in between keychain and belt holster tools. Fits nicely in a pair of jeans with the pocket clip. The pliers are the star of the show, truly a cut above all others with no mismatch at the end. The scissors are left-handed, so righties need to train their thumb to go the other direction. All tools lock which is a nice feature. All-in all a nice package with excellent quality.

No flat head screwdriver quality control issues
The positive: the blades on this are sharp and I enjoy the bit holder. The tools can be closed be simply opening another tool instead of hitting the release. It's small enough it won't weigh down your pockets. The Phillips screwdriver works great! The cons: the saw/ file isn't even aligned correctly. It rubs up against the bodyThere is no flat head screwdriver?! It would have been so easy to incorporate this but instead they rounded off what could have easily been a flat head. I know it can hold a bit but that doesn't mean I want to carry around one. The scissors are left handed
