Cute Idea but it is much smaller than pictured

I bought this for a teenager who was having surgery. He loved it! However, it is really small, much smaller than it appears in the pictures so pay attention to the measurements. It is also much darker than the picture. I forgot to take a picture before gifting it. I loved the positive messages. They were age appropriate for a teenager or older. It's a unique gift for someone going through recovery.
