We love keens, and I liked the idea of the back strap being the place to have the Velcro for my kid to take the shoes on and off himself. He’s almost 3 and apparently can do everything without momma’s help. He’s able to put these on himself and take them off and I don’t have to worry about the level of protection of the shoes; I know he’s well protected. The soles are solid and non-slip. The color is so fun and the fit is perfect without being too tight or too loose or too heavy on his feet. He’s worn them chasing crawfish in our creek, to the pool, beach, shopping… they are his first pick and are holding up great for the high usage they get! We’ve even washed them in our washing machine and there’s practically no sign of wear yet. Highly recommend!

Love these shoes that not only look terrific but also protect those little toes so the kiddos can play, run and jump without worry of injuries.

After my son's pricey all-terrain Crocs kept falling apart and ripping, I was fed up and ready to invest in something better quality.These fit the bill. Super high quality, very durable and well made, and a little better fitted for my son's narrow feet than a Croc.The only downside is that the straps need a good bit of breaking in, and rubbed sores on my son's feet. He now chooses to wear a different pair of sandals with softer straps, but open toe. I'm hoping I can get him to wear these with socks or bandaids enough to break them in, as they're perfect for our mountain hikes and river days, and will keep his toes protected!

The traditional style's velcro strap started to rub my son's ankle at the top of his foot when he sized up to the size 9. He's been wearing keens since he learned to walk, so I wasn't sure what his summer shoe would be this summer. Thankful that these are available.

Kids love wearing these why we go for bike rides and to the park. They love not having to take them off for splash pads.

So it was just past its return window. So annoying.
