These beasts look like they just flew out of a Tolkien novel or a heavy metal album cover. Some pages are full-on fantasy scenes, while others just feature the dragon in all its scaly glory. Either way, it’s super satisfying to bring them to life with color. Paper quality is great—I’ve used colored pencils, gel pens, and even lightly tested markers (no major bleed-through). Single-sided pages too, which is a must with this kind of detail. What I love most? It’s actually calming. Something about focusing on the wings, claws, flames, and scales just dials everything else down. Like meditation… but with more fire. If you’re into fantasy, mythology, or just want to rage-color a dragon’s eyeball after a long workday, this book is absolutely worth it.
