I tried to repair a faulty floor switch twice, but could not achieve a reliable repair.I decided that I had to give in and order a complete new switch and this one has proved to be an excellent replacement.The parts come in a neat little kit in a box with simple step by step instructions.It was really easy to install- the main thing is to ensure that the contacts are jammed in firmly to make a strong contact. If you are replacing an old switch it might be helpful to photograph the routing of the cables before you take it apart fully.I have good knowledge of electrical fittings, but this would be easy to fit for most people.PS: my original switch came with tamper proof screws, so I had to drill the heads off to get it apart.

Easy assembly I am 83 with a dlight tremble and it was still an easy task. Well done from us oldies

Does the job but rather fiddly to wire . Switch only connects/disconnects mains connection L line!which is a " push" fit connection.....(not screwed terminal) But satisfactory in operation..

Great replacement for broken switch

Product provides connector for Live wire only. Neutral and Earth wires can be routed round the switch mechanism inside the case but no room for connectors for them if they have been cut. Product description should make this clear.
