Excellent Value and Excellent Charger
Had the charger for about a month now and it's been great so far. Never given me issues, and the 24' cable is a life saver. I am able to charge my '24 Model Y parked behind a 19' car. Unfortunately for me I had to do some small but somewhat costly electrical upgrades to install a subpanel and a NEMA 14-50 outlet. If you have a newer electrical system, 200 Amp service w/ space for 2 breakers in the panel, then you can install this much easier. NACS connector is high quality and reliably opens charge port door. Cable is also durable and manageable, and is only slightly warm at full speed 40 Amps. You can hang the cable on the included holder or around the charger shroud itself. It mounts very securely to the wall, and can be installed easily. The mobile app is basic but it has good information and it accurately tracks, displays, and reports charging statistics. Since this is priced under the Telsa equivalent charger, it made it a more attractive choice. Though it doesn't look as sleek.

Very useful! Looks great!
This Emporia EV charger replaced a GM Ultium EV charger (which had failed 3 months into its 3 year warranty). The GM charger was essentially a “dumb charger” that only charged, had no useful app (other than connecting to WiFi and 2 charger power level settings) and was 30% more expensive more than this Emporia. This Emporia EV charger app has very useful power utilization graphs and 10 charger power level settings, charger scheduling (as opposed to using the vehicle’s scheduling), multiple energy management choices (including selecting the energy tariff our power provider prices), and other interesting and useful features.Paired with a Lectron Tesla-to-J1772 adapter, this easy to add to WiFi and Bluetooth home Level 2 charger works great with our 2024 Lyriq.

NACS hardwired
Bought an NACS charger to future proof the house, but now I'm not so sure it will be the standard. It's fine though, since there are adapters out there if cars don't adopt NACS. Regardless, I hired an electrician to hardwire it and he had no issues. Works great and faster at 48 Amps compared to my outdoor charger operating only at 32 Amps. Other than using the Emporia app when I first installed it, I doubt I'll be using it much since my car has its own app. Great price!

Great garage charger for our Tesla Y.
Easy to install with a nice app to monitor. It communicates with the door to the charging outlet on the car, so the door opens without touching anything. The system just works as presented.

So far so good
Just had it installed about 2 weeks ago and it's working great. We've have a Tesla, so we got the NACS plug. I simply press the button on the charger handle (when near the charge port) and the charge port on the car opens and I plug in. We had a power outage the other night and I was curious to see if it would require any resetting after power came back on. But it did not, it was ready to go when the power came back on. Actually, I kind of forgot about it and just plugged it into the car and the car was ready to go the next day. And isn't that what we want from appliances, to just work without having to think about them? Haven't tried their app, Tesla's app is too easy to use.

Two week review
Works well so far with Tesla MYP. Haven’t used the app included because you can control same settings on the Tesla app. Charges my car fairly quickly. Will update in a year!

Near Perfect Charger. Only complaint is short wire ends.
Almost perfect. I got the hardwired 48amp model with NACS connection, since future EVs will all use. With the pre-wired conduit and just a purchase of a 60amp breaker it is ready to install. It only had about 8in of wire left sticking out the conduit but I shortened the conduit about a foot to have enough wire for in my breaker box. Too bad it didn’t have about 2ft of wire past its short flexible conduit. Only thing I would have preferred. Rated up there almost with Tesla charger but priced better and still includes the wiring that is not included with the Tesla Charger.
