I was able to fix my Citizen Eco drive watch with this battery replacement

Not all Citizen Eco-Drive rechargeable watch batteries are the same, so be sure to identify the correct part number. This is the size and capacity I needed and it was an exact replacement. I've only had to replace one of these in 15+ years of owning dozens of Citizen Eco-Drives.

Not in Citizen signed packaging; however, I know from experience that it is identical to the original capacitor. I wear an Eco-Drive everyday, and have had the same one for close to 20 years. Useable lifespan is 15 or more years. I replaced my existing capacitor when it failed about 5 years ago. The capacitor lasts longer if the watch is used often.

After three days of charging in full sun, it would not hold a charge. I reinstalled the original capacitor and the watch is working.
