I have double doors on the front of my house and just got new locks for them a year ago, so I didn't want to change everything. I was looking for a lock that allows for a code, fingerprint, or phone app access for multiple people so my family wouldn't have to carry extra keys for my home. After considerable research, I decided on this one.This lock has everything I was looking for and it matches the rest of my door hardware, so it was a much less expensive option than changing everything. The lock was easy to install with only a screwdriver and it seems very secure.I already had the Smart Life app on my phone, so it was a bonus that I didn't need another app. At first, the app didn't want to lock and unlock the door, although I could hear it making noise like it wanted to. I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the lock on the app, and presto! It worked perfectly!I love this lock and how easy it is to use with the app, fingerprint, or code. There are also keys in case of some unforeseen issue. I can give all of my family members their own codes and they can also use their fingerprints for really easy access. The log on the app tells me exactly who is coming and going, which is reassuring. All in all, this is a really good lock at a reasonable price. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought for of these locks for a house that is going through an extensive renovation. I bought the locks in March and they arrived promptly; however, due to shipping delays, the doors, on which he locks would be installed, didn’t arrive until June. I installed the first two locks with no issue. When I installed the third lock, unfortunately, it would not power up; as in, the keypad would not light up. I grabbed the power pack from another (the fourth) lock and attached it to the keypad and it powered on; so, obviously, there was an issue with the power pack. Since I was past Amazon’s 30 day return window, I was concerned that I would not be able to get a replacement or a refund. My concerns were immediately alleviated through my interaction with Smonet’s customer service agent. They are fantastic! First, I called the customer service number, but no one answered; the phone just rang with no opportunity to leave a message. To my surprise, about an hour later, a gentleman called me back to ask if I had a customer service inquiry. In this day and age of horrendous customer service,I was stunned that I was getting a real, human response. From there, I was helped by a lovely woman named Winter. Winter was wonderful. She requested a short video of the malfunctioning lock, which I sent, and promptly informed me that a replacement be shipped expeditiously. Best customer service EVER!As for the lock itsel…I have other branded smart locks and I can tell you, from experience, that this lock is incredibly easy to install. I also like that you can use Bluetooth to sync that lock to the app and set up codes (this is not the case with the other branded locks that I have). The only con that I see, in comparison to my other branded locks, is that the app is a little less intuitive; but, for the price (the other locks cost more than double the price of this lock), I can get over it.To sun it up, between the customer service, functionality, and value, I highly recommend this lock!

The lock was very easy to install. I like that it has multiple ways of lock/unlocking (fingerprint, number code, fob, physical key, remote via phone app). It also came with a Wi-Fi gateway that allows you to remotely lock/unlock via Wi-Fi when you are away from the house, because otherwise it would be via Bluetooth which means your phone needs to be pretty close to the lock.Customer service was also exceptional. Very friendly, timely, and helpful!

The deadbolt and the app are awesome, so easy to put together and manage, however the gateway they provided did not connect to my WiFi, I have the WiFi needed and it was just not working for me and to get ahold of any customer service rep is a nightmare. Still trying to reach them because they comepletely disregard my issue and just ask if I need a refund or a return. I think I just got a faulty gateway. Other than that it is awesome!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this lock so I could have flexibility and not have a bunch of keys floating around. This lock has several options including fingerprints, key codes, smart cards, even remote access. It is a great option since I have minor children. Their fingerprints work great with this lock. They get a kick out of using their prints to open the house. The remote feature is a plus as well as a piece of mind for me. Install was easy enough and it looks good too. Initially when I purchased this lock, it was missing several essential parts. I contacted their support team and informed them of my issue. Their response was almost immediate and very efficient. They shipped out another lock that was complete and stayed in contact until I received it. The new lock I received is the one pictured and it works wonderfully. I would recommend this lock for the features, price, ease of install, and the availability of support if you should need it. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to doing more business with this company.

Installing the lock is straightforward.At first the lock was not locking electronically and giving me an error, I contacted customer service and they replied quickly, indicating it was likely due to the hand of the door. They walked me though changing the setting. This setting found under "more" when in the app with the lock selected. As described below:1. First outside the door and face the lock keypad>if the hinge is on your right, it's a right door>if the hinge is on your left, it's a left door2. Open your app and use the app to lock or unlock and to make sure the app and the lock connect well, then go to app - more - unlock direction>if you choose the correct unlock direction, then change it to wrong unlock direction and then use the app to lock and unlock, then change it to the correct unlock direction and use the app to lock and unlock again.>if you choose the wrong unlock direction, then use the app to lock and unlock and then change it to the correct unlock direction.The only other note is that you will require 4 AA batteries, so I recommend buying some rechargeables for thisFinger print entry saves a lot of time and works well.So far so good!

The smart lock came nicely packaged with very clear instructions and the app you use to control the lock was also well designed and lots of nice features. The wi-fi gateway setup was also pretty straightforward. One small issue I had was that the Amazon description claimed there would be 5 keys but it only came with 2 keys as well as 2 id fobs. I was a little concerned about not having more physical keys in case the batteries died but after contacting their excellent customer service, they told me about this neat feature to use in case the batteries die. There is a USB plug on the front panel and if you plug a power bank into it, it will power up the lock enough so that you can use your phone app, passcodes or id cards. With this feature I can just leave a power bank in the garage instead of hiding a physical key!

I was first skeptical of ordering locks of a brand not really known in Canada, but after searching around and looking at all local locks compared to this one I am super happy I have purchased it, actually I just purchased my 3rd so all my exterior doors have one.The wifi system is easy to use, the passkey extra features are awesome. If someone is watching me put my code in I can smash as many buttons as I want as long as I input the correct sequence somewhere in the middle.The app is pretty user friendly compared to the vast majority.I love everything about these locks. Highly recommend!Update: The third lock sadly had some internal mechanism issues and after speaking with their customer service who were stellar they issued a replacement all within the same day. Really is great to see such an amazing turn around to get my place locked up safely again.I still highly recommend these locks. Can't find anything close to the features in Canada.
