Perfect die cast of a Kawasaki. Already was together and the detail was more than anticipated.

My brother wanted a *real* motorcycle for Christmas so instead I bought him this as a joke. He LOVED it and it’s now on display on his desk.

I didn’t know what to expect when I bought this, but when I received it, I just loved it. Great craftsmanship.

As a Ninja motorcycle owner, I wasn't expecting the realism of this model. Down to the fine details, this model is substantially correct. The only counterexample that is obvious is the side stand, which, it seems obvious, is overbuilt on purpose. The model comes with an optional display stand that I don't use because I think it takes away from the realism of the bike on its side stand. Other nice touches include rubber wheels, working steering, rolling wheels, and an articulated and sprung rear suspension. Unfortunately, the front suspension does not compress without breaking. The primary value in a toy/model like this is for a pleasing static display at work that reminds you of fun things in your life, and maybe strikes up a conversation with someone you did not know was a kindred spirit. The ad says the model is die-cast metal and plastic. The only parts I can find that might be metal, I can't tell for sure, are the fuel tank and the seat sub-frame. The rest is plastic or rubber. I find this model sightly expensive for the overall design and composition. In my opinion, with an opportunity to see and handle this in person before purchase, I'd probably pay no more than fifteen bucks. One star taken for this reason.
