Good pump so far
Nice pump at great price compared to OEM Volvo Penta (Carter). Installing was straight forward and as most boats area was tight. Fixed my problem of stalling and poor performance. Used just 2.5 hours and works great so far. Hopefully will last a good while. Original pump had the paint flaking problem from ethanol. Original pump is around 1000 bucks so this is a nice deal.

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY. Photo below of gasoline spraying on engine through a hole in the pump.
The media could not be loaded. WARNING - This fuel pump developed a hole in the side of the high-pressure chamber. The result was gasoline spraying onto the running engine, including directly onto the alternator. Fortunately, I discovered this problem while the boat was on its trailer in our driveway. Had it happened when we were underway on the open water, it could have caused a fire or an explosion.Full disclosure - the pump is not new. It has been in the boat for two seasons, but with very few operating hours. For the metal chamber of this fuel pump to develop an actual hole means either the metal is inferior or the manufacturing is extremely careless.I do not expect a lifetime warranty on an inexpensive aftermarket part. But this is not a simple warranty issue, where something electrical or mechanical failed. This is a serious structural failure that could have had devastating consequences.I messaged the seller and at first they didn't even respond. When they did respond, the impression I got is that they could care less. No "thank you for making us aware of this serious problem" or "this is absolutely not something that should happen from one of our high-quality products."They claimed the product is out of warranty (which is not the point) and then offered me a whopping 5% discount to buy a new one. Talk about standing by your product. With all due respect, CARMOCAR, keep the 5% discount and spend it in improving your dangerous product.Trust me, I will purchase my next fuel pump from a different seller, and encourage fellow Amazon customers to consider the risks of buying from this seller.

Almost perfect
Like others, fuel filter installed too tight. I crushed it before it let go and had to buy a replacement. Only install issue I had was with the low-pressure electrical connection. For an unknown reason, the harness wouldn't quite seat into the pump. I measured both the replacement and the original pump fitting and they were the same length and width, but I couldn't verify the depth. I ended up breaking one of the plastic retention arms before it would seat and have it safety strapped to the pump to make sure it stays there. But it fired right up and boat is running fine after about an hour of use.

Beautiful swap
Easy swap out. The hose could be 5 or 6 inches longer but otherwise a great easy to do job. Boat mechanic would have charged an arm at least. Started the engine and it was so quiet.

Just as good as the OEM product
Fuel pump went and Volvo Penta wanted seven hundred and change for the OEM replacement. This pump was under two hundred dollars and its more quite then the original.

Turns out this pump never worked, the engine did not get enough fuel to run
My original fuel pump system started making a whining sound and was hot to the touch but still worked fine. I ordered this pump from this company to be proactive so I wouldnt get stranded on the lake. The after putting in this new pump the engine would not stay running for more than a couple seconds. I replaced thw old pump and everything runs fine. This boat stays at a remote lake house that I couldn't get to for several weeks, than once it occured to me the try the original fuel pump system only then did I realize this pump was the problem I had thought there were other issues with thw boat causing my problem.I did not pay attention to the return window for the part I have so seldom gotten faulty parts like this.By then I wasnt able to return the pump. I will contact the distributor/manufacturer to see if they will stand behind the quality of their products.I will follow up this review with another after contact with them to help others know about this company and how they stand behind their products. Hopefully I can elevate their review.I own a company and understand return policies are designed to minimize abuse and address a few other things, however, there are times we look beyond the stated policy to make things right. Lets see what these people are made of.
