Will break if used in hammer mode
Purchased in May, 2022 to enhance versatility of Metabo SDS Plus battery powered hammer drill (outstanding drill, by the way). First used one year later to drill 3/16" holes in concrete foundation. Failed to recall any warnings to not use in hammer mode. Third drill hole later the chuck completely unraveled and bit stuck in wall. Quality appears to have been typical Bosch- very good if used for its design purpose, but please learn from my mistake. It will not hold up in hammer mode.
