I'll never espresso without it again!
I couldn't be more pleased with this little doodad. I had a problem with pucks sticking to the grouphead of my little breville espresso machine. I tried adjusting the amount of espresso until it was too small for my taste and the puck would still stick. Enter this espresso puck screen and the problem is almost completely solved. One surprise: It's sooo easy to clean up the group head when using the screen. It seems quite well made, and doesn't seem prone to clogging or plugging. It works well, I'll never espresso without it again!

Tiny Accessory, Noticeable Difference – Cleaner Shots, Easier Cleanup
recently added this 53.3mm puck screen to my espresso setup, and I’m impressed by the subtle but real improvements it brings to each shot.Performance:The screen sits perfectly on top of the puck in my 54mm portafilter. I’ve noticed less splatter and fewer messy pucks since using it.Build Quality:At just 0.9mm thick and made of fine 150μm mesh, it’s flexible yet durable. It feels like it can handle daily use without warping or fraying. The ultra-thin design makes it easy to incorporate without affecting the basket fit.Clean-Up & Maintenance:Cleanup is simple just rinse under water or give it a quick scrub with a soft brush. It also helps keep the group head cleaner since fewer fine grounds get up there during extraction.Fit:smaller than the full 54mm diameter, the 53.3mm size sits just right on top of a tamped puck without interfering with the machine’s function. It’s designed with that slight gap to avoid pressure issues and allow room for water flow.Final Thoughts:Not a game changer on its own, but it’s a smart upgrade if you’re aiming for cleaner shots, better extractions, and less cleanup hassle. For the price, it's an easy addition to any Breville-based setup.

High quality puck screen
This puck screen stands out from the rest - sturdy, cleans easily and keeps my machine clean as well. and delivers consistently even extractions. Noticeably improved the taste of my espresso shots. edges are smooth and don't snag on cloths while cleaning. Best one I’ve used yet!it is slightly thicker than other brands i have tried, but still fits well into the group head of my machine.

Great product but does require occasional soak in Cafiza to clean
Great craftsman ship works great. One piece of advice, it will require more than soap and water to clean after a few months. After 6 months of use I began to get uneven and varying extractions from cup to cup. Even though I wash this after each use and it appeared to be clean I soaked it in Cafiza cleaner. I was amazed that the water looked like a cup of coffee from all the oils it extracted from the filter. Afterwards you could tell the filter was like new again. Well worth the price.

Exceptional
Craftsmanship and materials (stainless steel) used are the best, look and feel exceptional. It distributes water really well as it flows out steadily and evenly. Fits inside filter basket perfectly, no coffee grains on the top after brewing espresso, no mess, very clean. Love it, and anyone will too.

Keeps them beans from gettin' all up in there
Always hated the tamped or mashed beans having residue, sticking to the top of the machine, on the inside, all up in there, where it's a pain in the a** to clean up. This device works very nicely, to reduce this problem quite well. I still wipe after running rinse cycles, but the back splash or residue of your tamped mash, is significantly reduced. Make sure you choose the correct one/size for you machine and parts. Make sure you also tamp nice and hard, so the, though very thin piece of metal, does not obstruct your tightening your portafilter back on your machine, to brew. Works flawlessly every time. Love this thing.
