I bought this adapter to simplify travel with my family, which includes two young children. Instead of carrying 3-4 charging bricks and multiple travel adapters, I opted for the 140-watt model to fast charge our 12 USB devices, from phones to headphones. This was meant to be my primary charger, with a backup travel adapter and power brick as spares.When I first unboxed it, I wasn’t particularly impressed, but it feels adequately made. The different plugs (EU, US, etc.) are functional, though I’d appreciate more sturdiness, especially with small kids around. The adapter’s design is modern and discreet, which reduces the worry of theft. It’s also compact and didn’t add much weight to my carry-on, which is a plus.The ports are all on the same side, which occasionally led to tangled cords among the four of us. However, I prefer this setup to having ports distributed on different sides. It wasn’t a major issue. Even with all ports in use, the adapter only got slightly warm, which is expected with this power output.I used this extensively in a country with EU plugs, averaging at least 10 hours of usage daily, and it performed excellently- I used it only a handful of times as a travel adapter, that is using it to power a US-plugged electric device. The adapter is decently durable, surviving minor bumps in my bag without any damage.While I usually keep devices charged at home, the demands of travel meant some devices would run down, and this adapter was a lifesaver for quickly recharging them. I couldn’t check the power quality from the plugs we used, but the adapter consistently delivered around 45 watts through the three USB-C cables I had power meters on, sometimes reaching the low 80-watt range. With the additional USB-A plug, it likely approached 100 watts.On our last leg, after a long day followed by a night flight, this charger was reassuring. Even with the kids watching something in the terminal, I knew our devices would be sufficiently charged for the flight. Given the convenience and reliability, I’m pleased with this premium unit, though without a teardown, I can’t fully speak to its internal build quality. It performed flawlessly on one trip, so I can’t give it less than full marks.I haven’t purchased a travel adapter in years, and so I don’t have much to compare it too, but I do know that having a high-speed charger when you need, while you are traveling is important to me, so I do think this unit is worth it, even if the price is pushing it a bit.

Perfect travel companion that works in like everywhere. lifesaver for me - don't gotta bring a bunch of different plugs. The fast charging charges my laptop and phone super quick. Feels safe and not like it's gonna break. Overall, def worth it for travel.

Bought it for a trip overseas and it worked perfectly. Charges fast and it’s pretty easy to use. The best part is it can do multiple devices at a time which was really helpful for us on our trip.

Update: I purchased 3 of the 85 Watt and one 140 watt charger and took them on a trip to Ireland. They all performed flawlessly. We used them to charge multiple devices and portable batteries. We didn't have any issue with any of them functioning on UK current or back home on US current.The chargers are pretty hefty blocks, but not as big as you might expect for the amount of power they produce. I have a 100 watt charger that is just as big without the additional ports or adapters. It probably takes up less space than carrying an adapter plus chargers, but does the job of both.I haven’t had a chance to test this anywhere except at home in the US. It works just fine here and appears to do what it says it does. I won’t get a chance to use it overseas for several months. I don’t have the tools to test whether it produces the expected wattage.We are planning a trip to Ireland in March and will need adapters to charge our devices. We could have bought a less expensive UK adapter, but this is our first ever trip outside of North America and I don’t know if/when we will travel overseas again. This adapter will not only work for this trip, but we can continue to use it at home when we are not traveling. A dedicated UK adapter would be useful for this trip and then be forgotten in a drawer.I bought the 140 watt adapter because I have a Legion laptop that can operate off up to 140 watt USB-PD when not playing games. My wife got the 85 watt adapter because she doesn’t need the additional power. More than likely we will just need to charge our phones, watches, headsets, and portable batteries. Any of these can charge from the ports on the charger so we may not need to carry any additional chargers.

Used a total of 3 days while on a trip to Europe , at which point like another review mentioned the usb portion of the charger failed..all 4 ports no longer charge any devices and there is a melted plastic smell coming from the charger even though physically there is no plastic melted..seems the issue is internal..the fuse also was not burnt out..I’d recommend going with another brand..money wasted.

It has everything we need to travel everywhere.

If someone travel a lot and need to carry laptop with a large adaptor(65~90W) like me. This a good alternative option. This large output universal adaptor plus Type C to Type C cable can supply all juice we need for laptop and phone or tablet at same time.
