I placed a couple of this packets with my bananas and lettuce. They stayed fresh and crisp for an extra 4-5 days than before when I didn't have these gas absorber. I usually had to throw out my bananas after three days because they got black and squishy because of the humidity in Hawaii. With these packets, I can not finish off my bunch of bananas without wasting. My lettuce stayed much crisper and fresher. Will definitely purchase more when I run out.

This is much cheaper refill for the blue apple than the ones from the same company and they work well

I put a packet in a paper bag with 4 bananas, leaving three from the same bunch out. Three days later the "treated" bananas looked the same as the last banana left on kitchen counter.I'm noticing a photo in their ad showing bananas in a fridge drawer in with TWO packets. If this is what's required for success how do they expect consumer to know without any mention of it?!Hey seller!: What do you think about at least mentioning instructions for use in your Amazon ad if you're too cheap to enclose an instruction note with your product?No idea yet if doubling the number of packets will make a difference....Yeesh!

I never write reviews but I just purchase my 4th set of these. I ran out of these and purchased strawberries 2 days ago pulled out of refrigerator and they bad already! If I do would of had these packets they would still be fresh! We are fruit eaters and this summer these have been a life/ money/ time saver for me.

These honestly did not do anything for me. My produce seamed to expire just as fast as they have before.

Have not noticed longer shelf life with bananas. What is most effective way to use these packets with produce you do not want to refrigerate? Should you make a small cut in the packet?

I put a sachet in each drawer of my refrigerator - my fruit and vegetables last soooo much longer now!

Definitely a good purchase! These work great.
