It protects the gimbal and the screen - especially if you want to carry it in a pocket
Firstly the most obvious thing that came to mind: this is 28 cents worth of plastic that is being sold for $14.00 - and I might be inflating the cost. But the most important thing to know, is it actually does an excellent job protecting the gimbal and the screen.The eponymous "Pocket 3" will never go in my pocket using the carrier that came with it. The carrier is solid but I just don't like the fact that it still leaves the gimbal exposed, and if it should hitch on something or rub against something inadvertently, it would ruin a very expensive camera.This protective case, is exactly that. And even though the material itself is not what I would call stout, it is capable of protecting the camera if you want to shove it into your pocket - or bag, or purse, or anywhere you would like - the gimbal is enclosed and protected.There are no frills, and nothing fancy (except the price tag) but if you want to completely protect your $500 camera, the price should not be an issue and this product will protect it very well. I recommend it.

Gives some protection
The media could not be loaded. While the plastic is not as thick and sturdy like in the original case, certainly I think will deliver some degree of protection to my Pocket 3.Fits perfectly fine.
