For ultra endurance events and long training days, these are a great way to balance your electrolytes. Especially on hot days when you're sweating a bunch and are struggling to keep up with that salt loss, throw back a couple of these and you are good to go!

The first ingredient on these is just "sugar," but for some reason, they're easier on my system that just eating sugar. I haven't pushed the limits, and only use one package to get to me to end of a long (like 4 hours) run, but they do get the job done. Packaging can be a hassle when it's hot, as the chews stick to the cardboard encasing them. But for 30 grams of carbs, they're about half the size (and fewer in number) than other chews--two and done!
