Convenient gate for pet or children
Very easy to install. Ends screw in place and you adjust tension for a tight fit. I bought this for my outside deck so my dogs can lay outside without being leashed. It can be easily moved from one doorway to another and it is made well. It keeps my 2 pit bulls from getting through. I’m sure it would work great for small children.

Best baby gates
We absolutely love this brand of baby gates. We have tried several brands and this has been the one that fits our needs the best. We have an autistic toddler so keeping certain areas of the house blocked off for his safety is essential and these gates have been lifesavers. They look nice and are easy for adults to open, but not our son. They are reasonably priced, sturdy, easy to install and keep our child safe. They are stable when our son leans against them and tries to open them. We have cats and they are still able to get where they need to be.

Adjustable for wide doorways!
Love this gate! Very sturdy yet still easy to open with one hand. I have wide doorways and was happy that we could adjust this to fit my doorway.

Not stable enough for 55" opening.
I have a 55" opening in a stairway. This gate may be great for a smaller space but very unstable for 55". There would need to be a very secure stabilizer attached to the floor in order to secure this gate in the middle. Unfortunately I didn't need a gate there immediately so waited a couple of months to put this gate in place, too late to return it. This seemed like a good quality gate. Just be aware you'll need something substantial to secure the center area. My son is an engineer who inspected the gate and agreed with me that the gate would need something to secure it in the middle of the span.
