Loved the packaging. We have a The Last of Us lover in the house and when he saw this he said. Ummm… isn’t this the same mushroom fungus from the movie? I’ve used them in soups so far. Yummy!

to be clear, cordyceps isn't a flower, but a fungus, although i imagine if you're buying it you know that already. These are fairly flavorless, and have a slight chew to them after re-hydrating. I like to add them as a topping on ramen best, but they could be used anywhere you would normally use mushrooms.

Just as I expected when ordering, these turned out to be a great ramen topper! I soaked them in room temperature water for about 30 minutes and then added them to my cooked noodles with some hard boiled eggs and dried shrimp. Helped create a savory earthy taste that was very good! I can't comment on the health benefits, but I'll definitely be using more of this! I'm thinking of mixing and sauteing with some onions for a burger topper next.
