Best bang for the buck kukri
So far so good. does not come sharp out of the box but that is easily remedied. Good alternative to the Condor kukri

Is heavy, stout and made for large hands
This is a great chopper right out of the box. Although the blade was not oiled upon arrival so I puked it up and started chopping some black walnut and it went through it like it was balsa wood. Nice thick spine. Mosaic pins hold the handle scales together. Is def made for size L-XL hands. I actually was hoping the handle was about 1/4” taller/wider than it is but the thickness is good as is. NOT for normal size or small sized hands!!!! Even though this is made for large hands I was hoping the handle would be larger than its is which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5….. The handle should be taller/wider to match its thickness.Besides all of that this is about as small as an effective Kukri I have come across. And quite effective at that. Excellent chopper. Good backwoods bushcrafty blade. This is my 5th or 6th blade from this company United Cutlery and they all have stood up to the 4&5 star reviews I gave them and I’m sure this will do the same.

I wanted to love this Kuk, but it misses the mark.
I purchased this online from a different retailer, and I am unsure if they are all made like this but mine came with a Hollow Grind on the blade, made me feel like a shavetail louie... A hollow grind is the WORST grind for large chopping blades like this. It's the opposite of what you want as it digs into the material you are trying to cut and is hard to remove if it gets stuck. This blade would be a 9/10(The handle is also a negative but it's not too bad and for the money it's great) if it had a CONVEX Grind instead of the Hollow it came with. If I buy another Kukri it will probably be the Condor brand as it is almost the exact same knife but with a Convex grind, it IS also double the price and made of slightly better steel at 1075, I would love a 1095 this thick with a Convex, just thinking about one gives me goosebumps...If United Cutlery sees this PLEASE re-release this knife with a Convex Grind and I will rebuy it in a heartbeat.

Great blade
I don't usually do reviews, but I really like this Bushmaster Kukri Knife. It is very sturdy, sharp, and seems extremely versatile. Bushwacking, hunting, wilderness survival, woodworking, it can probably be used for many activities in the great outdoors.

Solid but bulky.
Solid build, I definitely trust it won't break easily. Now the nitpicks. The blade is a little too thick so it's heavy but that could be forgiven except the handle is not very ergonomic. To be fair my hands aren't that big but it's hard to grip do to thickness. Still I don't expect it to fail anytime soon.

Beast of a blade. Big handle.
The blade is a beast. It’s thicker that the Kukris you get from the Kukri house. Came sharp with a nice sheath. For the price, I’m happy. The handle is too big for my medium hand to grip comfortably. I”m planning on fixing this issue with a belt grinder. I make knives and tools so I’m fairly proficient at making handles. Sand paper and elbow grease would be sufficient for this task as well. Enjoy!
