Broadchurch: Series 1 And 2 [DVD]

Bought this on the recommendation of other family members. Any attempts to ration the episodes was forgotten after the second episode; we're now racing through them every night as we can't bear the suspense! Do make sure you watch series 1; there are some extremely poignant and compelling performances from the cast, and I have found it to be both moving and engaging.

Very happy came way before the delivery date, was supposed to be here between the 25th February and 8th March and it came this morning. I love this show its so good very emotional, well written and the actors play it so well. Huge twists and shocks I just can't explain how good and well done this programme is!

Having missed Broadchurch the first time around, and watched the first episode of the third series, I knew I had to see what had happened in series 1 and 2 to fully understand the story line. How had I missed this?. Binge watching over a weekend I was addicted to the fantastic story lines, and unlike some of the criticism that had been levelled at series 2, I thought it was very clever, and very enjoyable. The acting by ALL the characters was very good, as were the scripts. David Tennant and Oliver Coleman are in a league of their own. Highly recommend.

Obviously I don't give Broadchurch 1 star but this DVD! This is the second one I have ordered and both fail at the end - this second one doesn't play episode 7 atall.Infuriating, especially when it was a gift. Have requested a full refund.

OMG We love this! How did we ever miss it on the TV. Have now pre-ordered season 3 and are super sad that its soon to be all over :-( What a great duo

Thoroughly enjoyed Broadchurch series 1 & 2 DVD. The characters are very believable and the story lines are gripping. A professional production and well worth watching.

After watching Series 3 on TV decided to get series 1 which we had missed. Even though we knew the identity of the killer this series was well worth watching. Brilliant casting, excellent acting & good dialogue. Saving Series 2.

Fantastic series. I am posting because of so many comments saying the discs are unplayable. I am in Canada and playing them on a LG disc player manufactured in 2013. They play no difficulties at all. So I think it depends on the brand of blu-ray player.

Lousy. This may have said region free but it does not play in my usa blu ray player and has been returned. So what does region free mean anyway? This happened with my last 4 bluray orders (at least). How was I supposed to know?Dan Milliman

This is a series that you can't quit...you can't stop once you start--edge of your seat stuff!

This was supposed to be a "region free" Blu-ray. However when I tried to play it in my Blu-ray player, nothing happened!!!They LIED.It Won't play in ANY OF MY Blu-ray players.And, since I waited too long to check it out I can't return it or get a replacement either.This stinks!!!
