Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. Do not buy and then go see what your bathroom looks like. This powerful little light make things glow. Great for the OCD person that wants to take clean to a new level. Easy recharge. Battery last a good while. Feels well made, not cheap. You can feel the light on your skin, would work great for curing. Well worth the money.

Use this to spot scorpions in and around my yard. Bright as heck, rechargeable, and easy on the wallet! Just careful using it inside… you’ll see things and clean everywhere.

I've used the 395 nm UV blacklight for a while now, and I must say it offers great value for the price. The brightness is quite sufficient for what you would expect, and the build quality looks sturdy. The design makes everything compact. In terms of purpose, a lot of materials fluoresce brightly, though the 365 nm UV blacklight will excite the electrons of more materials. The only issue I've ran into is its power. It occasionally flickers or turns off by itself, and it takes a while for the blacklight to recharge, though this doesn't bother me too much. Overall, I highly recommended this product!I've also bought the 365 nm UV blacklight and will update this review if I remember.

DOA. Dead battery, will not take a charge. I had another 18650 battery to try, and that one worked, and the flashlight itself is now functioning OK and charging that new battery OK. But I should not have to supply a battery when a functioning battery is said to be provided. The dead battery has been on a known-good charger for over 24 hours now and is still deader than a doornail.The flashlight has an adjustable beam and does illuminate fluorescent objects just fine. The beam is hard to see, probably because of the UV wavelength. The unit does get warm so I believe it has a reasonably powerful LED chip in it.I haven't decided whether to keep it or not, the battery problem is irritating. Poor control over quality. The red USB charging cover pulled right out too. I was able to stuff that back in with a tool. Flashlight is OK if you luck-out and happen to get a working battery.

Very nice light, easy to charge, has some weight to it. Anyone in the industry to test for leaks that need a cheap UV light, this is a definite, cheaper alternative that is well constructed, with a bright UV

I guess you get what you pay for, as this flashlight arrived broken out of the box for me.I tried turning it on after removing the packaging but it wouldn’t turn on. I thought that maybe it needed to be charged first, so I grabbed the included cord and plugged it in. The charging indicator light never came on, so I took a look in the manual. The instructions recommended loosening the cap that holds in the internal rechargeable battery, so I did so and, sure enough, the charge light came on.However, the light was green, and the instructions say that the light should be red while it’s charging (green indicates a full charge). I took it off the plug and tried turning it on again with no luck. I decided to let it sit on the charger for an hour just in case it really did need a charge and the light was just wrong for some reason.Well, unfortunately, it didn’t work. After an hour plus of charging, it still won’t turn on. The removable rechargeable battery is a bit bigger than a standard AA, so I can’t just swap it out either.Maybe I just had bad luck and got a lemon, and yeah, I didn’t pay a lot for it. Still, I would recommend people stay away from this one. It’s been years since I last bought something that didn’t work out of the box, so I guess congratulations to this flashlight for breaking the streak…?UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and offered to ship a replacement at no cost to myself. The replacement arrived and worked out of the box without any of the issues I had with the first one. I’ve updated my rating to 3 stars, as the flashlight is pretty good when it’s working properly. So, overall, it’s not a bad purchase provided you get a working unit - hopefully my first one was the exception rather than the rule. Anyways, credit to the seller for reaching out and offering to make things right - A+ for customer service!
