Great Value For The Price
While not the best display on the market by any stretch, I give this monitor 5 stars because of the value for the money. It runs at a pretty basic 60 FPS, has standard 1920 x 1080p resolution, and has acceptable color accuracy. Nothing here blows me away, but for the price and convenience of a small display, it works great and is extremely reliable. I use mine sideways underneath my camera for video calls, which has been working great for me. I also put it on my own stand, which works okay, but what's nice is that you can get a VESA mount and put it on a stand properly. I just don't own one. It's very easy to use, you just need to plug in the power and your display cable. Or, if your device supports USB-C Thunderbolt display, you can just plug in one cable which will charge and output the display signal. Very minimalist, from an aesthetic point of view, which I like. Black bezels and nothing too fancy. I haven't traveled with it yet, but it seems pretty durable, and it has a little case that you can put it in for travel.

Great monitor and Inexpensive!
Great monitor, light, portable, easy setup. Could not get it to work on any of our phones or tablets, but did not buy it for that. Purchased for my laptop and it does great!!!

Great picture, easy to use, meets my expectations
Came today all boxed up solidly. Intructions, cords, everything I needed to get it up and running. . I tried it out on an old Chromebook (Acer R11), but I'll need to get an adapter to use it with an older MacBook Air. I also connected my Pixel 8 to the monitor with no issues. You can see I rotated the phone and the monitor accepted the rotated image. Video played just fine from phone to monitor. . With the Chromebook... to view YouTube videos and the like, I needed to plug the monitor into a power strip. The USB cord and plug block was provided with the monitor, so pretty easy to do. The USB ports on the Chromebook apparently do not put out enough power, so the monitor flickered and really couldn't handle playing videos just hooked up to the Chromebook for power and HDMI. . I purchased a stand so I could put the monitor above my laptop, as I prefer looking up instead of side-to-side. . Once I figured out how to navigate through the menu with the buttons, I was able to tweak any settings I wanted. The sound isn't all that loud, even on 100%, so I made my laptop my sound output and can watch video on the larger monitor screen with ample sound coming from my laptop speakers. . Overall... I'm very satisfied with this monitor. My expectations were absolutely met.... I'm buying an off-brand item on Amazon, so I typically temper my expectations based on that. . Lastly, the cover is okay, and I kept it for traveling with the monitor, but removed the screws so I can use the monitor in my stand and not fuss with the flap/cover.

Wait for a sale if you can
At $60 this is a fantastic monitor - at $100, maybe not so much. It was packed well - a thick, board game styled box with medium stiff foam cushioning the panel itself. beneath the panel is a space for a 2000ma USB power block, USB cables and a mini HDMI to full size HDMI cable. It can be mounted on a monitor stand if it has the 75mm mounting holes. The picture is bright with decent blacks, and nice color. The 2D portion of Performance Test did seem to smear a bit - but I suppose it could do that on any monitor, but I thought I should mention it. I plugged it into the Thunderbolt port on my Thinkpad T480s, and it worked with the single cable - great if you're doing presentations. It also works with some phones and tablets. Sound is usable - mostly. Very tinny, but given the speaker size you can't expect much. Like I said at the start - at $60 this is a FANTASTIC monitor. Right now, it's OK...

Really good quality monitor
I was looking for an inexpensive screen for a digital picture frame I'm building using a Raspberry Pi. The AYY 15 inch Aa5G1B looked like it would fit the bill, so I decided to try it. I REALLY like it! I've recently used other portable monitors, and I really wish I'd got this one instead for that application as well. It's a great size for my need, and it would also be great as a second monitor for a laptop. It's light enough to carry with a laptop. It is able to be used with a DP-enabled USB-C port alone, or it can be externally powered and used with a standard HDMI output. It comes with all 3 cables to do either, as well as a USB power supply (5V, 2A). Even though it's light, it also feels solid and able to withstand the rigors of life on the road. The cover is also the stand for the screen while in use. The biggest thing I like about this cover vs the others is that it's actually attached to the monitor's back with a couple of screws. The cover stays attached while setting it up. The other screens I tried are simply held in place magnetically, which is sort of a pain. The screen has a native resolution of FHD (1920x1080). The image is bright, crisp, and clean. This is the case of both the single-cable use on a USB-C and on my Raspberry Pi using the HDMI output and the external power supply. While I'm not a gamer, the response time is plenty fast to watch a FHD 60 FPS video without any problems. Something I didn't see in the description was the warranty. The screen comes with a full 1 year warranty. If you go to the website and register it, AYY gives you an additional 2 year warranty, for an explicitly expressed 3 years of warranty coverage. That's exceptional for any portable monitor, let alone one that sells for $50 in the US! I only just got it today, so I can't vouch for the longevity of the monitor, but a warranty like that gives me great hope. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this thing at this point. It gave me a great first impression on unboxing it, and after 5 hours using it so far, my opinion has only gotten better.

Great value, great product
I bought this monitor for a work trip. I've been using it for an extra monitor and it works great. I am waiting on a bracket to set up all of my monitors permanently. It was very easy to set up and should fit in my laptop backpack perfectly. The picture quality is very clear and crisp.

The portable monitor was better than I expected. I use it with my laptop just using USB C to USB C and it runs 60Hz. The USB port on my laptop is meant for extended display, I have yet to try it on a regular USB C port. Sound is not too bad, it has adjustable settings via side button. Easy to set up and came with all sorts of plugs for different computers which is really nice. The cover is great too as it is also a stand for the monitor. I do travel a bit so I'm hoping the cover is strong enough to protect the monitor as it is a bit thin. No dead pixels or bleeding. Great portable monitor overall!
