These suck. They don’t work at all. They don’t grip the screws. Don’t waste your money.

I was hopeful when I purchased the 2Pcs Damaged Screw Extractor, but unfortunately, my experience hasn’t been great. While the concept is fantastic for removing stripped screws and bolts, the extractors didn’t hold up as well as I expected. I always have a variety of miscellaneous projects going in my personal time and, from time to time, they involve taking screws out of things - whether it's to do a repair, refinish something, or any other number of things. If you've ever been involved with anything like these projects, at some point you've likely run into a stripped screw. Before this little kit, it was always just a frustrating experience with me, as I'd try hack after hack to try to remedy and get that screw out - sometimes to no avail. This kit of tools made specifically for this task makes simple work of these circumstances. What was once a time-suck situation is now easily accomplished. While you may not use these every day in your projects, they come in very handy in those instances when they're needed.

This product will not work on heavy stuff, particularly metal. This is only titanium-hardened steel, so if there is too much heat or stress, it WILL WARP or BREAK.If you are using this with hand tools you'll probably have much better luck. Just remember to use lubricants and ultrasonic vibrations to break free rust before trying to extract.That all said, this set's price point is low but it matches the material to local stores. However, if you are looking for a 'real' set cobalt or high-speed steel or forged American steel has the most reliability, but that will cost a bit more.

Good quality set of screw extractors for dealing with stripped screws. This item would have been much better with written instructions for those who have not previously used such a tool -- even just a sheet with simple diagrams -- instead of leaving users to figure out the various different pieces included for themselves.

The only thing that removed was the tip of the extractor. Garbage.
