Madd CappPuzzles - I AM Horse - 550 pieces - Animal Shaped Jigsaw Puzzle

This puzzle (I Am Horse) is the most difficult I have ever done, and I am known to pick the more difficult puzzles for fun. I don't find this puzzle fun but AGGRAVATING!The picture that is posted for this puzzle's pieces via Amazon and other places is nothing like the puzzle pieces in my box. The picture shows different interlocking pieces of 1, 2, 3, or 4 pegs/holes. This puzzle has all the same 2 holes and 2 pegs. Some pieces fit in places that, later on, you realize weren't supposed to go there. The shading is quite difficult to judge where pieces go.As others have said, the outside edge is near impossible due to edges that should interlock (like most puzzles) have straight edges. This definitely is not for 10 year olds. Usually, my family will stop to put in pieces here and there in other puzzles, but no one even wants to try this one. I wish I had read the reviews for this puzzle because I never would have purchased this. I even have tried searching online for a picture with the pieces this puzzle comes with and there is nothing available. I even think I am missing some outside piece(s) at this time and have an extra outside piece. Very frustrating!

We bought this puzzle for my daughter who is 8 for Christmas. The puzzle says ages 10+ so we knew it would be a challenge. I am 37 and pretty good at puzzles and this one is HARD. The colors on the puzzle don’t match the colors on the box so you are really working without a guide. And a lot of the pieces fit in many different places. You really have to be discerning with the pattern to be sure that you have the right piece in the right place. All that said, it’s a beautiful puzzle and if you’re looking for a challenge, this one is for you!

Very cool puzzle. Hard to get used to at first. My only criticism would be that the accompanying picture is so far off the colors of the actual puzzle it’s difficult to use it as a guide.

Fun unique puzzle. The pieces are a good size and thickness. Differ shape pieces and uneven edges was a nice change. Good color and quality.

Love this product in theory, but it’s sadly not great. The image is horribly pixelated, making it unnecessarily complicated. Coupled with the lack of variation in piece shape (outside of the obviously “odd” shapes,) render it decidedly un-fun. I had seen these at a museum and was very excited to gift it to my parents - very disappointed. :(

If you like a good challenge, buy this.
