We rescued a cat who had been abused and hurt. With this she will put some weight on her damaged foot, and even run occasionally. Without it, she will walk using only 3 legs. I bought it because of the good reviews. They were not wrong. We never run out. I hope it never gets discontinued. Heads up: Occasionally we get a bottle that the lid was not tightened well enough at the factory and it will have leaked out in the box before we receive it. But, that is only when Amazon ships it in an envelope instead of a box. When it comes with other items in a cardboard box, that never happens. So, I recommend ordering it, when you also need some other things, so it doesn't come in a soft pack. It's important, because this item is NOT returnable.
