As a photographer, I initially used these whips for cable management. Since then, I have used them anywhere that requires a secure hold. Think Tank has never, never disappointed me with any of their products! I've purchased these whips three times. I'm very happy Amazon now carries them!

A simple but very useful innovative piece of gear. Great for use on any activity , work or play, where you want to securely attached items to your pack or bag or case. Totally reusable an a must have accessory.

I got two of these with my thinktank organizer (which is great, my favorite over lowepro) Once I had two I had to get more. These are so simple and so wonderful. The small ones work with all types of cables and I use the large one to wrap power supply bricks with cables.

Extremely useful. Came in a pack of 12. 10 small and 2 “large(r)” whips. Seems pretty simple to make if you have extra time, but are pretty decently priced. They don’t stretch that much so be warned, even the larger whips will be useless on object with a diameter around 2 inches. I do want to see larger ones made, would definitely order those.

I like the bright red color, makes them easy to locate in dark settings. It's so easy to wrap wires with this system. The elastic is quite durable, and the deployment method is intuitive. I've gone bonkers wrapping up all my random wires b/c it's so easy and creates order from chaos. If you've been in a band with lots of equipment and wires, you know that wires have a mind of their own. If you let them, they'll get out of control. THIS SYSTEM CONTROLS WIRES - full stop!

Use this to tidy cables for photography. Used to use velcro but these ThinkTank whips are quicker and easier to take on or off without the ripping noise of velcro. Also, velcro is a magnet for every loose thread or bit of fluff and eventually becomes clogged. These are far superior.

Exactly what I needed. I could've used some DIY stuff instead of this but the plastic quality of the locks is unmatched. Don't settle for anything less if you need cable management while you keep them in bag or when you are shooting outdoors and want to tie so e things so they don't get in the way. These will come handy during my night motion timelapses. Best quality Whips!
