I like this little shelving unit. It was easy to put together and it fits nicely in my small office, it does hold a bit of weight (be reasonable, thou lol). I think it fits with any room aesthetic with the variety of colors provided. You can mount it to the wall or can leave it lean on the wall just fine too. I'm using heavy duty 20lbs+ wall strips because I don't want any holes in walls but do want a bit of a support just in case. Not bad! But does come with a couple of cons. Cons being: 1. I ordered "cherry finish" and on photos it's more orange, more woody. But in person I'd say it's like a pale brown with reddish and purplish tones. If you care about that stuff, it's a con. But I honestly don't, the color is still very nice, almost velvety looking color. 2. The wood is soft. Be careful not to over-tighter your screws because of that. I reckon it would break or at least chip if it were to take an impact and fall over. Again, I don't care for that as I am fairly careful with my furniture. The unit does appear to look a bit taller/bigger on the photos, in person it's a bit more petite lol. But in the end, for 30-35 dollars that I paid for it.. it's seriously very nice. Considering the price is a steal. Bruh, 35 dollars is a Chipotle meal with drinks for two people. Seriously a good price.

I am THRILLED about this tiny bookshelf. I’ve been dying to get a ladder bookshelf, but could not bring myself to by particleboard. This little guy is wood (mind you, basically kindling) and extremely good looking. The box came damaged, but somehow everything survived and is perfect. I’m beyond thrilled at the look and the price. A couple notes: When assembling, do one side first with the screws and then move onto the next side. Be super gentle with screwing everything together. This wood is thin pine and will split if you're not gentle with it. Literal kindling. This stands up perfectly fine without being mounted to the wall. I live in San Francisco and will have to pay big dollars if I drill into these antique walls, so this definitely won’t survive the big one, but it stays up totally fine! I wouldn't light any candles anywhere near or on this thing.

I actually ordered two of these and paid extra money for the certain kind of finish I know it wasn’t the cherry but it was the other one anyway it was much more expensive for this finish and I was under the impression that they would be made better. The second one the actual little wood planks on the individual shelf started coming off while I was putting it together I ended up having to gorilla glue them down for the money I paid for them which is probably about $50 apiece I would’ve expected them to be made much better. I am super disappointed I love the idea of them I love that they’re small I like to collect antique maritime things and also I’m like a Buddha enthusiast so I like to keep my little trinkets in antiques on the shelves on display and you know the shelves don’t do my antiques any justice my antiques look like they’re sitting on the cheapest made ladder shelves that I could’ve bought which isn’t true I could’ve definitely found cheaper ladder shelves that are the same size. And if you’re going to buy these shelves buy the cheapest ones they have the cheapest finish and then just finish them yourself whatever color it is you want them to be because trust me they did a terrible job with the finish there’s blotches in spots missing like I said pieces of the actual shelves and selves are coming apart and jagged little nails coming out I wanted them for both sides of my TV in my bedroom like I said for my trinkets and My antiques and if they were going in any other part of my house I would’ve returned them but because no one’s actually going to see them it’s probably just less hassle to hold onto them and maybe work on them myself later with the finish and reinforcing all the shelves the only thing that was easy about this product was that it was easy to put together please go somewhere else in by your Shelves these are not worth it

This fits perfectly in the wall between my doorway and closet door. It holds my stuff well and looks very cute. This is great for small spaces. You just lay it on the wall. However, I recommend adding command strips to the parts touching the wall to stabilize it. I wouldn't trust it to stand on its own and not move without the command strips holding it in place, especially since I have cats that like to play behind it sometimes. It was easy to put together. The wood isn't super expensive and it kinda felt like balsa wood. I read in other reviews that the wood can spit easily so you don't want to screw the screws in too tight or it might crack. That didn't happen to me but I was wary and the wood does at first feel cheap. It is not stained so the wood is very light, but it matches the vibe of my room. If you want, it would be easy to stain it or paint it whatever color you want. Furthermore, it can't really hold books unless you lay them on its side, maybe at the bottom you can have books upright depending on how big they are. It is a great size and not bad for the price as I looked for other places with a similar item and it was more expensive.

This is very much a “get what you pay for” item. For the pros, it looks nice and is very easy to assemble. You probably won’t even need the instructions. I put mine together in less than 30 minutes with no issues. As for the cons, this is where “get what you pay for” comes in. First of all it’s very small. Smaller than it appears in the photos. That may or may not be a negative, depending on what you’re looking for. The biggest con is the stability. This shelf is very wobbly and weak. I highly recommend anchoring it to a wall, otherwise it will shake and wobble every time you touch it. The wood is also very thin and brittle feeling, so I would not load up the shelves with anything heavy. I was actually surprised when I unboxed the pieces at how flimsy and thin the shelves were. Im happy with the purchase because it is a very inexpensive piece and therefore I can forgive the shortcomings. Just be warned, you get what you pay for.

This is an incredibly disappointing product that spells CHEAP quality and material all over. Highly over priced for the pathetically cheap quality that it is. The material is pretty much compressed layers of paper or cardboard... CHEAP, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Demasiado caro para lo que es. Baja calidad, la madera no viene tratada. Me esperaba un producto diferente.
