I bought these to put in with a selection of games to entertain my 7 year old boy on a flight (trying to avoid 4 hours of screen time!).It was his first set of top trumps. The cards were good quality (surviving a spilt drink with little damage) and with good quality photos and text.Firstly, he loved looking through at all the players, getting really excited about the ones he already knew. It was nice to see him taking an interest in some less well-known players. Really liked that there were female players in there too. We did have some debates over the rankings! But that made for some good conversation.He loved the game and found it really fun especially when we played more and got to grips with which cards were best for which (they do have a TOP TRUMP logo on to indicate if it is the best in a particular category which helped).All in all, a compact game which was well worth the money.

Bit pricey these are. But lad likes them & loves football. Glossy finish as you expect from top trumps. Compels you to buy the other sets that go with this so watch out your kids nagging you for more.

This is a great product. It features a pack of 6 collection cards to start you off. Inside, you'll find 34 cards showcasing both male and female stars, which is fantastic. Additionally, there are 18 legend cards included. Each card is packed with detailed information about the players.

I got this pack for my son because henlike to collect cards he has loads of different packs of top trump cards so we didn't know what to expect I like the plastic holder to keep the card in safe so they don't get damagedLoads of sporting faces on the card recognisable players this also included a booster pack a team sheet and a stand my son wasn't bothered about anything but the cards so he was happy but for a starter pack to include all the added extras I think thisnwas a good set up to get you going.

This is a Top Trump Starter kit for Football Stars.The kit comprises of 1 main pack of 34 cards which includes male and female football players with some managers as well.Additionally with the main pack is a booster pack that has 18 Football Legends in it.There is also a collectors display box and Team sheet.All the cards are well made with clear pictures and information on just as Top Trumps has been previously over the years since I started playing with them back in the 70s.The starter kit gives you incentive to start collecting the packs available in this series especially if you are a football fan.Overall I do find this pack is probably priced quite high for what it is although if you are into Top Trumps plus a football fan this is a no brainer as the quality of the whole pack is very good and is then worth getting.

This "Starter" kit is frustrating because it forces collectors into paying for things of little value. This set includes pack 1 of 6 2024 Top Trumps World Football Stars. Pack one can be bought on its own, for half the price, but if you do you will miss out on the bonus legends pack. Also in the kit are a folded paper team sheet and an unimpressive display unit. Neither of these I consider worth having. I am surprised that the kit does not include a battle mat.Compared with earlier editions, the 2024 Football Stars cards includes one extra statistic, player height. Goalkeepers have been included in the decks. It is unclear how players are supposed to compare goals scored against, clean sheets. Another notable feature is the mixing in of women players in with the men. It is not a feature that I am keen on.
