Got this shirt for my husband for our upcoming cruise. Great shirt for the price. I have a hard time ordering him clothes online & them actually for but this was true to size & fit perfectly.

Last year I bought one of these shirts in another color for my husband, and he really liked it. Since it seemed to be soft, comfy and put together well, this year I bought this one. This color is beautiful! It's a deep blue. This sounds a little weird, but the first time he wore it he had a lot of people, mostly co-workers, compliment it. It took a little longer to arrive than some other purchases, but it turned out nice - good craftsmanship and looks good on him.

I ordered "this" shirt - SSLR flamingo Hawaiian shirt. The previous one is still fine. My review will both compare and contrast "the same" item, as well as a neutral comparison against others of its class.First, while I generally wear an XL, I have found 2XL seems necessary, especially when dealing with some Made In China clothing. Fortunately, reviews are generally good enough to find if I should buy my size, or go up. In this case, "going up" worked before, and seems to be this time. These shirts appear to run about a size small. That I know how to adapt my purchases doesn't mean I leave the manufacturer off the hook for shoddy measurements and standards. In the 21st century, I don't buy "please allow inaccurate sizing due to hand measurement." Get it together, please. Fortunately, one size off is much better than some others which were two or more sizes off (2XL fit a medium, and a child in some other purchases).Now to compare and contrast two SSLR shirts. On reading reviews, I first went with 2XL. This turned out a good choice. With the new one, I also went 2XL. It fits similarly, though might be a little smaller in the arms. I still need to iron it. The material seems similar, maybe a touch different. This may sort out after washing/ironing. Aside from the arms/shoulders, there are two distinct differences. First, on the older one, there is a chest pocket. The new one has no such pocket. This is not exactly a deal breaker, or something I would return it over, but it is significant enough to notice, especially when I make use of that pocket for glasses. The other structural difference is along the button line. The new one has stitching along the button line. The older one has the material foded over, with the buttons through the folded material. A compromise would be nice - the stitch line and the chest pocket. The buttons are identical between the two.Regarding the care, I will treat the new one like the first. I have washed it on cold, hung dry, and ironed as needed. There's been no problem with this care in over a year. I don't anticipate any problems with the new one.I gave this 4/5 as a rating, because the difference between purchases (button line, pocket), and also the inaccurate size labeling. I don't foresee problems, but will reevaluate if needed.

The blue shirt with flamingos is a beautiful shade of blue, which makes the flamingos and flowers pop. The cut of the shirt is comfortable. Nicely finished cuffs on the short sleeves. Fabric is lightweight and perfect for hot and humid days.

Bought this for my husband, the colors are beautiful and nice and long with a tailored fit. The print is only on one side with it being solid white on the inside but it looks great! Good quality !

Was looking for a shirt for a costume and this one did the trick. Didn’t breathe as much as I would have liked, but size was good.

Normally I order one size up to ensure they fit because you never know, well I didn't with these and they were still rather large. Sleeves are longer than I like and just didn't like the fit. May be a personal preference, but the colors look great and the print is nice for the beach. Just not a fan of the sizing.
