I bought this for my dad who has dementia as his old one went wrong. He said this one is so much better and bigger! His last one was 7" screen (corner to corner) and this one is 10" and he loves the sun/moon logo on front so he knows whether its day or night time.It comes with a remote but this only adjusts the settings which is handy for setting alarms but not much else as the clock auto starts as soon as plugged in with the correct date day & time so he didnt have to do anything.The remote actually does also have an OK button on it which changes between the 6 different clock faces. The default is a black background with white lettering, the next ones are Red & Yellow lettering and then the 2 white backgrounds with highlighted day & date and then the analog one with second hand (like a normal watch) He has set his to the 5th one which is white background with the DAY highlighted in Red at the top & the date highlighted in Blue at the bottom. This makes the actual day (like TUESDAY) really stand out which he loves as he normally forgets what day it is and he can see this from anywhere in the bedroom.But once set I would guess the remote would not be needed unless changing the alarms so excellent that it comes with the time/day ready set and is not confusing for anyone to use. Just plug in & done!He loved it so much today (Tues 14/05/24) that he asked me to order another one for his living room which will be here tomorrow (Wed 15/05) If you are looking for a dementia clock I would say do not hesitate to buy.

What can I say, it’s a large screen with multiple colours and very easy for my mum who has macular degeneration to see the time.

My mother rang me to ask what the time was in none 24hr time as she had an appointment and couldn't work out the time. She is starting with early dementia.This clock has been a total game changer for her. She can clearly see the day and time and understand it.The display is very crisp and as there are different colour bands for each element day, date, time etc it is easy to see.Perfect, I would highly recommend and would definately buy this again for this same purpose.

Worth paying the extra to have the bigger screen size and GMT function. Works as soon as plugged in with no need to set. Good options and clear instructions. Great for use in care home.

My mom is legally blind and very particular about things. She absolutely loves this clock. She can read it fairly easily, and the USB port is perfect for charging her phone. The settings are easy for me to change, which makes life easier. It’s a winner.

Mir gefällt, die große Zeitanzeige und der Wochentag. Man kann von einer Entfernung von 4-5 Meter alles sehr gut lesen, auch Datum, Monat und Jahr.Viel Einstellmöglichkeiten von Wecker oder Erinnerungen, die ich nicht verwende, aber für ältere Personen sicher von Vorteil sind.

Ha llegado un día antes del previsto. Venía en perfecto estado. Fácil de configurar. Ayudará a mi madre a saber en qué día vive y en qué hora.
