Excellent product that delivers without weighing 10+ lb, as other analog step-down transformers. I use it in Chile to plug in my US battery charger/tenders for my car and motorcycle, along with my chargers for power tools. It has a good circuit breaker that is audible on power-up. The only thing that I would ask is that it have USB outlets as a convenience, but that feature is available on lighter-duty models.

This was a must have for European travel. All of my travel companions on a recent trip to Portugal had outlet converters but not voltage converters (which are necessary for hairdryers-if you don’t have a universal one- and also curling wants and flat irons), so they were all thankful I had brought this along! It worked great and is pretty compact compared to others on the market.

This product worked GREAT on our recent trip to London. I was able to use my American 120v hair dryer (less than 1600 watts) and flat iron, as well as electric toothbrushes. This is great to have since many appliances that claim to be dual voltage actually aren't, and then you're really inconvenienced unless the hotel has a replacement.I also have to say the customer service is excellent with this company as they got back to me right away and answered my questions quickly and politely. I give this product 5 stars!

Took this new in the box item to Greece with us, hooked it up and it would not power a 1500W hair dryer with a physical on/off switch (not an electronic switch)…old school. Looks nice, but just clicked and would work.

We took this on our two week trip to Italy for the sole purpose of being able to use our Dyson Nural hair dryer. It worked perfectly for two people to use daily. The fan did come on each use but it worked and I would highly recommend this.
