Good quality, good packaging.
Came in without any damage despite hot weather. Quality drink with visible fermentation, this is genuine kvass, about as best you'll get outside of a local one. It is like dark beer but sweet, very good.

Close, but not real thing
Not terribly sweet, little bit of acidity from lactic fermentation, and slight hint of alcohol, these are all the good things, but flavor is slightly off, possibly pointing to malt concentrate being one of ingredient, lacking the real rye bread flavor of proper kvas. Allstar is much closer to real thing in term of the flavor profile. But still drinkable and way better than "dead" commercial kvas surrogates.

Very similar taste to kvass I bought from a yellow barrel as a kid in Russia
I used to buy a glass of kvass for a nickel (5 kopeek) and a two glass mug was a dime (10 kopeek). This kvass tastes very similar to the way I remember straight from a yellow barrel. One thing however is the price. I understand they have to make up the shipping, because it's expensive to ship these heavy bottles, but I believe the whole sale cost of this bottles is not much more than $5 and I'm only buying it on Amazon because other vendors have run out.
