Oh, this is incredibly beautiful. I fell in love with this pan on the website, and every day I use it, I fall in love with it more and more. It brings me satisfaction and pleasure in cooking. Yes, it's not light, it's heavy, which means the bottom is stable and doesn't move. It's great for cooking borscht, jellied meat, and cabbage rolls. When you need to cook a large amount and have room for liquid, it's simply super-duper.

A good sized pot for making larger amounts of stocks and soups. Well made with a well fitting lid. Used to make more soup than I previously could. No food stuck to the bottom of the pot and the handles don't get too hot for moving the pot to another location. Steel very shiny and definitely thick enough, also not too heavy.

It's most definetly made of the thinnest metal that I have come across. It's exceptionally light, but if it holds up to the task I will be happy. I needed a tall pan for water bath canning and this should do the trick. Because of its intended purpose, it will only get used periodically, so it will hopefully stand up to the test. Time will tell with this one.
