The damascus pattern is very pleasing, I like the design. The handle and weight is comfortable and the blade itself is very sharp. The packaging and presentation is also good quality, so it would work very nicely as a gift for a foodie. A perfect knife for everyday use!

I can tell the difference in quality but not sure I am someone who would be happy to pay the difference in price. If you can afford to spend this level on a knife, you better make sure you use it for everything you can and look after it well! It comes with a box, but although this is nice enough to keep for storage, it also comes with a knife sheath.Looks really nice as a quality knife and it cuts really well. I would feel inclined to use it for more than it’s designed for. Veg, fruit … sure. Meat and bread too! (It does cut almost everything but it’s not a bread knofe of course!)
