Bigjigs Toys Ludo Traditional Play

Like that this board and pieces are plastic free. Lovely bright colours and very sturdy. My only criticism is that the home station for each player is very small and four wooden pieces do not fit properly into it. However, this is a small point and does not detract from the game.

We bought this Ludo set to play with our granddaughters (3, 5 and 7). It is beautifully made - a lovely wooden board with chunky wooden playing pieces and dice which come in a cotton bag for safekeeping. The board is clearly marked out and easy for young players to understand. We've played our first game and it was a great success.It represents excellent value for money and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Bought this after 4-year old brought home a flimsy small version as a party favour. This board is great and has seen a staggering amount of use since we bought it! The wood pieces are substantial and easy for small hands to move. Board makes a satisfying noise as you bump the pieces along. Colours are bright and cheerful. The only niggle, and it is not a small one, is that there isn't room in the 'home' circle for all sixteen pieces. That's not an issue when only two people are playing but becomes problematic when four are, especially if there's any dispute as to whether someone's piece is 'home' or on the space just outside.In general, this is a great board with high quality pieces. My son loves it with the true fanaticism of the very young, so we play almost daily right now.

Second game I’ve had with the brand and it’s great quality and well presented kids love it.
