I bought this for my bathroom threshold. I had ceramic tile I left under vinyl flooring. It was a pretty big gap. But this was a perfect product for my job.

If you have floors that that are uneven! This will do it. I tried numerous transition strips and they did not work. This one stays in place. A bit pricey but worth it.

It also somewhat closely matches the color of the floor. I got a grey one It does have an adhesive strip on its high side. I was going to screw it down but that may be unnecessary. Have not installed it yet.

I needed help getting my wheel chair over a door sill into my screen porch. This product is nice and sturdy and doesn't buckle under the weight of the chair like rubber products do, but if it was an inch or two longer it would be much easier to use

Sooo, I was my own general contractor on my home renovation. I guess the guy installing the doors thought I was going to use standard width wood flooring but I used the thinner bamboo-based kind with hickory on top, which actually hold up better than hardwoods. But never mind that.Anyway, I hadn't actually selected my flooring when he put in the doors, so he assumed the normal inch thick stuff. I used a half-round for awhile, but it looked ugly and was inadequate. And this was the door to the car and I'd take a rolling suitcase over it a few times per month, and it didn't go well. I bought this and screwed it down, filled in the end gaps with wood putty (mostly to prevent it from becoming a bug hotel), and now it's wonderful. It'll last 20 years.

The gold color was perfect with the color of my floors. It was easy to install

Bought , for my elderly father . The rise was perfect being about , just over an inch .36 inches wide , was perfect , for the doorway as well ....The only , negative was , after rolling over it with a battery powered wheelchair , the top , scooted slightly ....but overall , was good for the money !
