It wasn't hard to assemble but its not sturdy at all, like if you carry it some will fall apart no matter how many zip ties you put. I put 3 cats in mine and do not recommend, its small so I would say its made more so for 2 cats at most. One of my cats was able to escape out of it at night because like i said its not sturdy at all. The ladders don't stay on either. I ended up buying another catio that is made of wood that is way more spacious because this one just had my cats miserable.

Easy to put together if you know what you're doing , my cats love it

Yes, it takes a LONG time to assemble. Hopefully you have patience and ingenuity. The square vinyl solid platforms/perches for the cats are not very sturdy. Therefore, I bought scruffy floor runner material off the reel at Home Depot, am cutting it to fit, gluing on each square, so my cats' claws don't shred the perches in short order. We bought this as a temporary safe structure so our cats can be outside while our home undergoes a lengthy remodel where their access is very limited. I took away a star due to assembly time and wimpy perch material.

I loved it. Although it's a cat cage, I use it for my pet birds. Nowadays, bird cages are crazy expensive. And they still end up being too small. But this cat cage is way bigger and cheaper than what the "biggest" indoor bird cage would be. Although the instructions were difficult to read, and the video wouldn't load. But I made it work and assembled it but just the outer part. The inside I decorated it with branches and play stuff for my birds. But make sure you click them in place. There should be no gaps connecting each panel. So make sure you use your upper body or floor to click them in place. Other than that. Easy in my opinion. The hammer was useless for me too. I also used all 4 doors to make one big one for me to enter and clean. I decided on this cage so that my birds can fly more freely while I work.

The enclosure is easy to assemble and make it how you want it. The only downside is the vinyled top panels seem a bit thin. I'm keeping the extra wired panels stored to replace the top when vinyl gives in.
