PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT - Gourd - Birdhouse - 12 Seeds - Unusual

Excellent value 12 seeds only 1 did not grow.I soaked a sponge with warm water, I had cut slits into the sponge and put the seeds in to this suits on their edges.They were then put into a sealed box and placed in a warm dark place.2 weeks later they had germinated and planted them.We tried some outside, although in Scotland they grew but not very big, very tasty in stir fry.The others ones were out in poly tunnels and green houses.They grew very fast and we had loads of them.Best results grow inside if you want large ones, as you can see they were huge.I used YouTube to find out how to prune, which was very simple and worked.Buying again for this year

Had the first batch replaced by Amazon since the seeds were dead, no sign of life. The second batch was dead as well, tried all germination techniques but nothing to do. Everything went on the bin. Not recommended

I originally purchased one pack of this earlier in the summer and unfortunately, not a single seed grew. I purchased another pack and to my luck one seed has grown hence although I would have liked more than one seed to grown I am happy that at least one seed has grown. Rating changed from 1 star to 4.

I didn’t really expect these to seed in the cold wet U.K. but they have. Started them inside and planted out last week. They’re doing really well and are about 10 inches tall now. Can’t wait to see if they fruit

Followed all the guidance and read loads about growing these, despite growing a single very long vine there was a lone flower that never produced a fruit. I know with plants there is always the random element but I had little success.

Received both packs of seeds as ordered but no introductions for planting or aftercare. Why ?

I've bought plenty of seeds from this company before and they've all been fine. The packaging is minimal which is probably how they keep their prices so low. There are no instructions, but the Internet can fill in any gaps. I've sown some of these and they're thriving.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Not grown yet but look like good seeds.
