Lucky Love Dress and Skirt Extender with Lace or Ruffle Trim

So I've been really wanting to try a slip extender for a while, because I have at least a half a dozen dresses that I can't wear because they're just a little too short and it stresses me out to worry if they're covering enough each time I wear them. Keep in mind I like all my skirts and dresses to end about an inch below my knee at minimum. So I got this black ruffle slip extender last Saturday and wore it with a dress I haven't worn in at least 10 years to church on Sunday. And it was fabulous! I am still very excited & super pleased that I can wear this dress again without any stress or discomfort or worry that I might be flashing more than I want to (which is apparently the back of my knee). I am 5'6" and 160-ish lbs (I go up & down). It fit great. I got a large just to make sure it fit well and I could easily walk in it. Not only could I walk in it, I could easily chase down my crazy-sweet 17 month old son AND help an older woman to get into a car without any difficulty or concerns. I was so very pleased with this slip extender that I ordered the white one the next day. This Sunday I plan on, modestly, wearing a new fun, flirty white dress I haven't been able to wear yet because it is too short (sadly my husband won't be there to appreciate it - he'll be of taking his turn to help clean up after Hurricane Michael somewhere in GA I think). I'll have to just flirt with him another time. =)

I ordered a size up. I usually wear a women's 16, and I ordered the XXL.I LOVE THESE. I ordered one with the chiffon bottom and one with the crochet bottom. I couldn't see where there were reviews with the chiffon bottom, so I was nervous. Both of the skirts are made of the same stretchy fabric...a chunky girl's dream during the holidays. ;) I worried the lace would be constricting because I the reviews said, "Don't climb stairs." If you order up, you can climb all the stairs you want. But if I was all about that life, I would be ordering a smaller size, wouldn't I? ;)I have bought several things hoping to find this. They are perfect for those handkerchief dresses that are long on the sides but are short at the front.This is how much I like this slip. The first thing I did after trying these on was write a review. It's Christmas Eve Eve and I have stuff to do!!! But if you are sitting there like I do, trying to figure out what is going to fit or what you're going to like...this is a good one. And it's not super-expensive. Suck it up, order one size up, and love it. Nobody will ever look at the size of your slip.

I am a curvy girl with wider hips and a small waist. I guess this skirt is supposed to fit on your lower waist. I order an xl which I thought would be super loose and give me enough room to adjust the height of the skirt depending on what I was wearing that day. Well the skirt extender comes with this thick elastic band around the top that cut into my hips and gave me muffin top. So the only place I could wear it was right at my waist and that was wayyy too short at the bottom. Long story short, I ended up cutting off the elastic band and the skirt loosened significantly. So now I can wear it on my hips or waist comfortably with no problems. I would still recommend the product but just know that if you have wider hips you might need to do some alternations. Also girls with thick thighs, the bottom of the skirt is not stretchy even though the rest of it is. It's a little difficult to walk upstairs or get in and out of the car with it on because you can't spread your legs apart at all. I do like the style and quality of the skirt.

Depending on the brand, I normally wear clothing anywhere from a size 2-6. I ordered the Small and it does fit. It's slightly tight but b/c it's a stretchy material ...it should be fine. I love the fabric- it has a nice, soft feel and it moves with you as you wear it. The quality and fabrication are great- as well as the packaging. The "crocheted" lace trim is very well made and will go well under a few of my bohemian/country girl style dresses that were a tad to short. My only hesitations are that this slip is a true" off-white" and I really wanted a darker cream, I wish the bottom had a slightly more A-line flair and the length is a little long for my purposes. However, the price/quality and difficulty in finding the crocheted lace hems verses a traditional, lacy 1/2 slip make it worth keeping as an option. I can always roll the waist to shorten the length and I am considering tea staining it to make it darker and "distressed" to better go with my outfits.

Amazing find for me! I love clothes. Love to wear dresses to work but so many are too short. Perfect solution. I am a size Medium 8-10 tall. Being tall with long legs (I know, Whah) it's hard to find dresses and skirts that are long enough and don't look trashy on me. This product adds about 2-3 inches to my short dress/skirt. This is beautifully made and fits me well. It does have a pencil skirt fit to it. Lace at the bottom is sturdy not delicate. This will be opening up a whole new world of dresses for me. The seller sent me two emails to assure me that if I didn't love it to let them know. Love it!

I bought this particular slip extender for my teenage daughters. Finding dresses that come to their knees is such a hard task!! With this extender we will be able to find dresses and skirts they like and make it to our standard of modesty! Thank you for this cute and much needed product. I would also like to purchase a black extender but have yet to see the adult small in stock. I will keep my eyes out for this one in the future! We are very happy with the quality of this purchase.
