It's cheap wood, which is fine. It works and is great for the price. No complaints there.The complaint is, the packaging. An arguably damagable item was shipped wrapped in cellophane & put in a thin vinyl shipping sleeve. I was amazed there was no damage. I would not buy from this seller again - no matter how attractive their products may be - if they can't even spare some bubble wrap to protect the item. Sheesh.

I noticed some reviews complained this was too small and were returning it; however, I used the measurements provided in the description and determined that it would work well if I just took the tissues out of the cardboard box to insert in the wooden box. PERFECT. I have several decorator tissue boxes in other rooms and I just pop open the end of a box of tissues & use about 1/2 a box for each of the 'pretty' ones. It's sturdier than the cardboard box so the cat doesn't knock it over.

This is a very nice tissue box and I have no complaints. The style matches my den and looks great. although, I was hoping to use it for hidden storage and it's a little too small for my plan. I hope the seller reads my review and offers another one for hidden storage. Maybe 8'' x 6.2'' x 3'' or even larger.

The box is very pretty and a good idea, but, it is a bit too small for the tissues. I had to stuff them into the corners kind of turned up on the edges. That is the only downside.

Very nice looking elegant tissue box. Wood used is harsh and rips tissues, needs a lot, a lot of sanding ariund entry point because wood is cheap and splinters. After that is a very nice looking but cheap tissue box, borderline Wish.com kinda thing

I m happy even if the size is smaller than the regular tissue box. I just took out the tissue from its cardboard box and it fits in ok.

Its a beautiful tissue box. I just wish the tissues actually fit inside it. Even without their box, they don't fit. The box is not long enough. Width and height are fine.
